Fascism: Unemployed = dependence on gov't. Americans forced to buy, work, and live at the specific instruction and allowance of gov't.
Capitalism: The wealthy have a right to increase their wealth by any means, usually at the expense of the American worker.
It would appear that capitalism leads to fascism, but also fascism profits from capitalism.

We are a capitalist country. Every citizen has the opportunity and freedom to partake of capitalist ventures and the inherent risks and rewards that go along with that. There are hundreds of thousands of business owners who would disagree with your definition of capitalism. They’re not sleeping on their huge piles of money…. They’re trying to support their families and employees and provide what they think is a necessary service and many are struggling to do so.
Or simpler, people have a duty to serve the state - under a fascist philosophy. Here,

Furthermore, just because they're "not sleeping on their huge piles of money," doesn't mean they won't eliminate American workers and/or eliminate benefits and reduce wages in order to increase their profits.
Capitalism is what makes America great and has made us strong for a very long time, but it's also what's killing us. America was strong because of the American worker. As jobs are eliminated, our dependence on local and federal gov't increases (unemployment benefits, welfare, etc.).
When American workers are only competing with American workers, capitalism works. But when American workers are competing with Mexico, India, etc., where labor is dirt cheap, and our gov't practically promotes this "trade" with tax breaks, the American worker (and our high cost of living) doesn't stand a chance in Hades. THIS is capitalism today.
Anybody can copy and paste definitions off the Internet, but it takes true intelligence to interpret and apply them to specific current events.
