Good question. Does anyone know? (sm)

How much did it cost the taxpayers of Massachusetts to fly Queen Michelle to Boston? Anyone know? She's campaigning.

with the most seriously injured. I guess some folks have a problem with that too.
Oh, yeah. Is she still visiting the terrorist? - Made a bee line to him, didn't she?

You mean the falsely accused injured Saudi students - Fox and RW media stalked and hounded

....the ones you are STILL trying to portray as terrorists more than six weeks after the lies they and their rabid racist readers spread were thoroughly debunked and retracted?
Why shouldn't she visit them? The anti-Muslim backlash perpetrated by knee-jerk bigots, and the subsequent fear, intrusions and unjust disruptions they, their families and friends endured is especially disturbing, considering they were no different than any other injured victim. FLOTUS visited the wrongly accused 21-year-old English student who the Boston Police have clearly stated is a witness, NOT a suspect and Noura al-Ajaj, a master's degree student in cosmetic dentistry who has had 3 surgeries on her mangled knee and thigh.
Among other falsely accused victims are:
1. A 17-year-old high school student who aspires to run in the Olympics. Now he's afraid all the negative notoriety will impact his acceptance into college.
2. Sunil Tripathi, the crowd-sourced 22-year-old "suspect" who went missing and turned up floating face down in the Providence River.
3. Mike Mulugeta. The Anonymous hacker group tweeted a false reports trying to implicate him in the 7-11 robbery that left the police officer dead.
4. Then, of course, there are the generic all "dark-skinned" Bostonians indicted in CNN reports.
Anyone aligning themselves with the creeps who promoted these travesties should be ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES.

That, plus all the copy and pastes (without links/credit given) of late. Makes one wonder if the Con has the capacity to make an "in my own words" analytical post with any sense of contemporary interpretation.
Probably not as - much as...

the lawyer the IRS has hired to defend the lawsuits filed today - that one's gonna cost a pretty penny from the taxpayers.
Those TP groups that applied for tax exempt status - and

were weeded out by IRS as unqualified get to chip in their "fair share" to help fray those defense expenses. Yaaaay!!

President Obama apparently has at least some capacity to laugh at himself. In video taped remarks last night to the closed door, hyper-exclusive annual dinner of the Alfalfa Club, President Obama let loose a joke that apparently got the entire room chortling. The Washington Post reports:
And President Obama sent a comic video message congratulating the night’s honoree, with whom he said he had a lot in common. Kissinger won the Nobel Peace Price for negotiating an end to the Vietnam War; ...

My Husband Has A Good Question, And Maybe Someone Here KnowsAug 17, 2012His question was if, under the Romney/Ryan plan, they want to send people vouchers for their healthcare....would they have a way of knowing that's what it was spent on? How would they guarantee that people didn't just keep the money and go without any insurance coverage--still ending up in the ER like they do now, where they can't be denied treatment, and we all end up continuing to shoulder their unpaid medical bills.
Would it be an actual paper check or voucher of some so ...

Sorry To Bug You All Again, But I Have Another Pie QuestionDec 03, 2011I am making a blueberry pie to take to my stepfather tomorrow, and I thought it would like nice to use a cookie cutter in the shape of a bell and apply that piece of crust to the top of the pie. Question ..Feb 10, 2010I'm always facinated at some people who think all social problems and situations are so black and white.Abortion is here to stay, whether it's legal or not, just like it's always been an option when a woman finds herself facing the impossible situation of an unwanted pregnancy. Wishing it wasn't an option has never worked. However, when a discussion comes up about abortion, we women are strictly divided. Black and White in our opinions. This is a complicated issue. It doesn ...
Cat Question Aug 05, 2011Don't know if you remember my last posts awhile back about a stray cat we started feeding and took care, gave her shelter for the winter and she had kittens. We've taken the kittens in and adore them all. Now...here she is 3 or 4 months later, every once in awhile I'll get a glimpse of her nursing them. Vet told us milk has to be dried up before they can fix her. However, she is a stray and she has been going out walking around the neighborhood like she has ...

QuestionMar 22, 2010Okay, here is a question that I have not seen come up here. While watching news today this just crossed my mind. If the government sets an insurance rate you have to pay based upon what you make per year, do they take into account all your other bills, and that sometimes as ICs we don't get any work coming in at times, and then what they set is more than what you can afford (i.e. more money than your paycheck and you still have to pay all your bills). As ICs I'm sure ...

May Be Having A TAH-have A QuestionJun 23, 2011Due to huge fibroids, bilateral ovarian cysts, and a myriad of symptoms, I've been told I need a TAH. Doctor tells me I'll be out of work 6 weeks but as I'm an MT and just sit at my desk anyway, I don't see a 6-week absence as being necessary. Has anyone here had a TAH as an MT or with a desk job and how long was it necessary for you to be off work?

Cat QuestionJun 06, 2012One of my 2yo males has a cyst on the side of his head. I just noticed it this morning, it's about the size of a golfball and underneath his ear. Its not in his mouth. Question......Apr 11, 2013Just curious about a couple of opinions. First of all, I like to tan. I know the health risks, etc., but I enjoy the way the sun makes me feel and I enjoy my skin with a tan. We just recently moved to "town" into a neighborhood. I live in a small area. I have a fenced in backyard and the neighbor is pretty close and their yard is also fenced in with a separate fence, not even joining mine.

E-Bay QuestionNov 19, 2013Hi everyone,
I absolutely love Swarovski Crystal, in particular their earrings. I have a couple of pairs that I paid full price for, but they are too expensive. (Earrings run from $60-$300+.)
I saw that E-Bay has a really nice selection, and you can just do a Buy Now for way under market price--I'm not into the bidding thing, BTW.
Thing is, how do I REALLY know it's Swarovski? Some of their jewelry is signed, and some of those posts say so, but not all their jewelry is signed ...

QuestionJan 22, 2017I have an insurance Marketplace question. If my income turns out to be higher than expected for 2017, will I have to pay a penalty? I know I will have to pay the taxes that would be owed, but is there anything on top of that? I also know it would be significant enough to change my monthly insurance premiums to a higher amount. It's a long story, but something got screwed up and I think I'll owe the taxes---I just don't want a penalty.

Question For TheDec 12, 2016Was the post moved regarding the comparison between Hitler and Trump? I thought it was an interesting article but didn't get a chance to finish it. I Have A Question - Please See Msg.Jun 01, 2015My family and I are selling our house and moving out of state, but our house is going to sell before we actually move, so we have to rent a house for about 6 months. So, I went to look at a house over the weekend and was amazed! For $1300 a month, it was a 3 bedroom house, very old, and a total wreck.
