I've heard that about 3s also. He had a wife and 4 small children. Just heard he had a heart condition and just fell over. Heart breaking for his family. :(

Heartbreaking for any family - regardless of age

[ In Reply To ..]
Politics aside, his unexpected passing is sad, but no more so than the anticipated passing of folks twice his age, at least where the family and friends are concerned.

Andrew Breitbart, within hours after the Senator Kennedy’s death and long before his burial, unleashed a venomous spew of tweets, calling Kennedy a “villain,” a “duplicitous bastard” and a “prick.” Without hesitation, he proudly prolaimed, "I'm more than willing to go off decorum to ensure THIS MAN is not beatified…sorry, he destroyed lives, and he knew it."

His own words are his legacy, his epitaph and a fitting tribute to the path he chose and the talent he squandered after his so-called political "epiphany." Before going off on some self-righteous rant denouncing libs for their heartless responses to this news, take a trip down memory lane for a moment and review the tweets from Breitbart's disciples who for months on end expressed their fervent hopes that he was burning in Hades.

Sad is in the eyes of the beholder....the cultural divisions Breitbart stoked and thrived upon in his final years being an exellent case in point. What better way to honor his memory than to take a page out of his playbook by "stepping out of decorum" long enough to denounce "a despicable human being" (another favorite Breitbart phrase he often leveled at fellow journalists for the simple act of expressing opposing views)?

Breitbart was a bottom feeding scavenger and purveyor of deception and hate, bent on widening and preserving the great American cultural divide....a cancer that afflicts our nation which he took great delight in nurturing. Despite his gift of innate intelligence, he was intellectually dishonest, manifested in methods and tactics which were unethical and expressed sentiments which were uncouth and void of even the remotest suggestion of civility. One of his more perplexing traits was his adversion and utter disdain for celebrity lifestyles....except, of course, when it came to his own notoriety, which he seemed to crave every bit as much as a dope fiend in search of his next fix.

I feel certain that Breitbart protege James O'Keefe will carry on his mentor's work for many decades to come, that is if he can manage to stay out of jail. For as long as reporters like these receive reverence, high praise, and oaths of undying loyalty from their devotees, there can never be ENOUGH said on the subject of the destructive forces of division they leave in their wake.

[ In Reply To ..]
I read your post and find it disturbing. Hard to believe there are people of this mindset. I just don't know where such animosity comes from.

Andrew Breitbart was a good person. He truly cared about our country and the criminal actions of some. I know a lot of people were upset at the stories he uncovered and made public. What you wrote and your opinions about him were so far off the target, however, you did describe the democrats/libs to an exact T.

1. Bottom feeding scavengers...yup.
2. Purveyor of deception and hate...BIG yup (read the posts here).
3. A cancer that afflicts our nation which he took great delight in nurturing...yup.
4. Intellectually dishonest...BIG YUP, YUP, YUP.

The rest of it I just couldn't read anymore. I got to intellectually dishonest and figured the rest was probably as disturbing. Can anyone tell me where such pure hatred comes from. The guy has passed away. Have a little sympathy for his family. What was that on this board people demanded sympathy when Obama's grandmother died. Or is that people are only supposed to have sympathy for the libs.

I do know that Mr. Breitbart was working on a story and about to come forward, so I do hope someone will be able to finish what was started. But then again that is probably what is upsetting the libs. A messenger may be able to be shut down, but the message lives on.
Serious question to all regarding this post - what if

If we replaced the name Breitbart with Obama and we replaced the name O'Keefe with Ayers what would your responses be.

I'm curious to know what people would have said if anyone posted such a hateful message using Obama's name or Clintons for that matter.
You missed the point. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
The OP turned Breitbart's hateful disrespect which he carpet bombed Twitterverse with mere HOURS after Kennedy's death and directed his spews right back at him. You cannot take selective offense at the words and call out the "lib/dem hatred" while exonerating the source and heaping praise upon him. Does. Not. Fly.
No I didn't miss the point - I got it just fine loud and clear - what if
[ In Reply To ..]
The guys dead. If the same hateful words were spoken about Mathews, Olberman, Pelosi, Obama, Reid etc. It would be a whole different story.

And you know what - He is a reporter/jounalist (whatever his title was). His job was to find the crime/stories and expose the people responsible. He shed some light on ACORN and those criminal activities among other stories of wrong doings. Sorry it's mostly in the democrat party that it's going on, but you need to start blaming the democrats/liberals and not him for exposing them.

Pure sickening nauseating hatred is what was spewed.
Serious question - Conservative

We already know the answer to this. Liberals would be passing out hair shirts, covering themselves in ashes, lighting candles and expecting everyone else to do the same. Oh, and let us not forget reverence of the deceased lib in a soft breathy voice, all the while genuflecting.

and they could not stand that he knew the lib dirty tactics in and out, then used them against the libs to his advantage. I thoroughly enjoyed him. Weiner (the little s_ _ t)had lied about Breitbart hacking into computer, sending nude pictures of him on the internet. Yeah...Like anyone would want to stalk goofy Weiner and take naked pictures of him. When it was revealed that Weiner had lied about everything, Weiner never made a sincere apology, but Breitbart got the last word. God Bless the exposure of Acorn, PP law breaking, Kennedy, and all the other crap the libs pulled for so many years! We need more like him.

People die every day. Because they were all vastly different but famous does that make them worthy of counting? What about the people who died in the tornados the past few days and the ones who lived but lost everything?

Breitbart deserves to be remembered as a dispicable human being who was a divider, a cheater, a liar, or not remembered at all except by his family and twisted friends. He is in a league with Rush in a way but was way more intelligent. Too bad he didn't use it for good.

Hateful posters - Conservative

[ In Reply To ..]
There are a few libs (far fewer now than a month ago thankfully) that are so filled with hate for anyone that will not toleraate their garbage. You see a display of it here. This lib cannot put aside their hatred, even after someone passes away. You can tell a tree by the fruit it bears; hate is blooming all over this one.

All is not what it seems to be - what if - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
It amazes me the cruelty, bordering on evil, that some people display here. I have just been shocked to read such hate. And why? Because he was a person who exposed the wrong doings/criminal actions of people, who just happened to be liberals. Their anger should have been directed toward the people who did the wrong, but instead they direct it towards the person who exposed the wrong doings. The words here are beyond hate, and why? because they are not liberal and have different ideas. They will excuse murderers, thieves, liars, etc if they are liberals, but if the same actions are shown by a republican they persecute them and want them dead.

Mr. Breitbart was a human being. He was man who had a wife and children. He was passionate about the country and had the courage to stand up to the liberal camp and show the country the crimes and wrong doings they are doing. He never backed down when he was right and he never was intimidated by them and that is what scared them the most.

Also, thank God there is going to be an investigation into his untimely death. He had just been to a local pub announced that he was about to release explosive tapes and on his way home that was it. 43 years old, healthy, just walking home. Coincidence? As the saying goes...all is not what it seems. I will be interested to find out the results of the investigation. It's just a sad day when any human being unexpectedly dies leaving behind a wife and four children. These children will never have a father again. It's just too said beyond words.

The fortunate thing is there are good liberals who don't act the way some of these posters do. I even read that Shirley Sherrod said "My prayers go out to Mr. Breitbart's family". Even Arianna Huffington had nice things to say. I've read many posts with good liberals saying they are shocked and while they may have not agreed with him they are showing their words of kindness and sympathy for his family. Unlike many of the nasty spiteful posters here. I often wonder what in the word did he do to them personally that they show such hatred and evil intent towards him. They speak words that have no meaning.

When Bush was president, sure there were liberals who disagreed with him. But it was a time when conservatives and liberals could have conversations and talk about ideas and information. Since Obama has taken office he has divided the country 10-fold worse than what it used to be. A new breed of haters have surfaced and they have no problems at all showing how much hatred they have towards anyone not a liberal. It's a sad time we are seeing in our country. I will be glad when the election is over. Nobody know who will win. Of course whatever side you are on you will say "oh my guy will win hands down blindfolded with his hands tied behind his back. But the stakes are too high. We need a new leader to guide the country to a better future. Not someone who is dividing racially and politically bringing us back to the 50s and 60s.

So all I say is don't let the posters here get you down too much. It is heartbreaking to read so much negativity towards anyone conservative/independent. They think they belong to this big club. All I say is what George Carlin said so truthfully... "It's a big club and you aint in it".

Chin up love - better times are coming.
Please see message. - sm

Yes, republicans and democrats used to have a history of working on things together. But it's the REPUBLICANS who refuse to work with this President. In fact, right after Obama was inaugurated, Mitch McConnell said he ONLY cared about making Obama a one-term President.

The "haters," IMO, are the Republicans. And as far as "politically bringing us back to the 50s and 60s," it's the REPUBLICANS who are doing that with their current war on women's health.

You got it right -- just backwards.

Nobody is third - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
I don't know who came up with that saying but it's just not true. Because of the saying people always look for a third person, but many times its just 2 or there are 4 or 5, but those extra people are never counted because it doesn't fit that that stupid number of 3.

Nobody is third.

I believe it was referring to things happening in 3s. - nm
