Sunday was a good episode.ﾠ And invisible Carol, well, nothing like having the cookie lady threaten you with being a walker meal as a kid.ﾠﾠ Some of you may already know this, but I thought I would pass it along anyway.ﾠ It's only six episodes to start, but it has already been renewed for season two. Maybe it won't seem so long between seasons of TWD now. They're going to need a Daryl type character, I hope they realize that.

[ In Reply To ..]In my previous post, I forgot to ask if anyone caught the Shane-like behavior of Rick when he saw Jessie and her husband Pete (the tool) walking down the street, where he reaches for the gun tucked into his pants in the back? When I saw that I thought of the first season episode when Shane and Rick are in the woods and Dale catches Shane keeping Rick in the site of his rifle and holding him there.

[ In Reply To ..]In the first season, I was always of the opinion that in order to survive in a post zombie apocalyptic world, you need to ally yourself with someone like Shane - someone who is willing to do what it takes to survive and keep those he loves safe. Shane understood from the beginning what was happening and what he had to do. The others in the group were too slow to realize what was going on around them.
I think it's interesting how Rick, who condemned Shane for being so brutal, now understands it is a brutal world and in order to keep his kids safe, he has to check his conscious at the door. I think the turning point for Rick was the group of bad guys that Daryl fell in with after the prison who were going to do bad things to Mishone and Carl. Rick just went insane. I think that's when he understood Shane's behavior and he understood what he had to do to protect his family.
Oh and Carol! She always seems to take her idea of survival to a deeper level. She is scary. I don't think this new Rick is at a point where he could threaten a child to insure the safety of the group.
I think we are about to see our group split over this community. Rick and Carol who do not trust anyone and want to just take it over and have no qualms about killing anyone who gets in the way. Then you have Maggie and Mishone who want to believe that they have found an oasis and want to trust that Deanna and this community are really what they say they are. I think we will see the group start to fracture as each fall to one side or the other.
The WD is such a great study of humanity and the psychology of survival of the fittest. Maybe I overthink it, but man I love this show!

Also, the W on the walker's head, wolves or MORGAN????? Upside down? Just a thought to see if y'all noticed. I could have sworn there was a W or M on the mean husband as he walked the street home while Rick watched, but my daughter said no, so I did not rewind it, now I wish I had. LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!

I also have been wondering about the fact that at the end of every episode of the first half of this season, they showed Morgan, but not at all so far on the second half....Hmmmmm

[ In Reply To ..]time on it, but I didn't associate it with Terminus. The W was only on the walker, there was no W on Pete (the tool). We first saw the W on the walkers in the episode where Tyreese dies, when they arrive at Noah's house. When they let the walkers out of that abandoned truck in the woods, all those walkers had a W on their head. I haven't figured that part out yet, but I don't trust some of the people in Alexandria.

Anyone else watch Walking Dead on AMC? I have to say, that season finale last night had me holding my breath for the first 25 minutes. Downright horrifying and much better than what TV "horror" fare usually offers, that's for sure!
