Question about Walking Dead (sm)

I know they showed all 4 seasons on July 4 weekend. Has anyone heard if they are gong to do this again before Season 5 on October 12? There are a lot of people who haven't seen season 4 yet and it's not even on Netflix - or are they just trying to sell DVDs?

Netflix states they will start Season 4 Sept 28th and AMC marathon kicks off on October 6 at 7 p.m. ET with the pilot episode, “Days Gone Bye” and then runs straight through until 2:30 a.m. ET with the Season 2 premiere. Season 2 picks back up at 7 p.m. ET on October 7, once again running until 2:00 a.m. ET the following morning.
This exact schedule continues until October 11 — the day before the start of TWD’s fifth season. Once Saturday, October 11, rolls around, the marathon kicks into high gear and AMC airs the rest of the series in consecutive episodes starting at 12:00 p.m. ET. This grand event culminates in the debut of the Season 5 premiere — “No Sanctuary” — on October 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
If by some miracle you survive this epic marathon and don’t turn into a walker yourself, we encourage you to stick around after the Season 5 opener for the season premiere of the Chris Hardwick-hosted Talking Dead. No word yet on who Chris’ first guests of the new season will be, but he always delivers a great hour of TV that gives TWD fans a more in-depth look at their favorite show.

They usually replay the previous season though leading right into the new season every year, so they will probably start playing it soon. A marathon of the seasons begins on Oct 6 of the series premiere. Season 4 begins at 8 pm on October 11.

Any thoughts on what season 5 is going to bring? I know it sounds nasty, but I think the new guys practice cannibalism, there was a lot of meat on that grill. I thought that while I was watching that episode. I watched the last Talking Dead about 3 weeks later, and there seem to be others that think the same thing. My friend thinks it's a crazy idea, but she went back to watch the last episode of season 4 again, and now she's not sure what to think.

Last time before the new season started they had a 24-hour marathon that led right up to the new season's first show. Haven't heard if that is what they will do this time, but CAN'T WAIT

i finally watched the last episode of the Talking Dead, there is a surprise guest on this Sunday, which means we are gong to lose someone. They've already killed off almost every one on my list so far, I only have two left, the preacher and Sasha, and that list was supposed to last until the first part of season six. Anyone else watch Walking Dead on AMC? I have to say, that season finale last night had me holding my breath for the first 25 minutes. Downright horrifying and much better than what TV "horror" fare usually offers, that's for sure! At least at the end they confirmed there is indeed a season 3 in the works and didn't leave us hanging like they did at the end of season 1.
