Anti-O books dominate NYT bestseller list. Problem is (sm)

Can any of O's base read? That's the REAL problem, as I see it. I mean, look at the reading comprehension problems by some here on this very board.

existed or have been underestimating to the point that I don't recognize names thrown out here, terms used that mean a great deal to some but have been going right over my head, etc. Friends and neighbors here in Georgia don't talk about this stuff, or maybe I don't have the right handshake or something.

You guys need to understand that when we seem clueless, it's because we often really are. That a lot of this stuff is is going right over our heads because, although we do read, we haven't been reading what you do. For instance, I'm embarrassed to say that when a post referred to Dred Scott I didn't "get" it was a reference to abortion. I really should have understood that when President Bush used it in his speeches. It's short and simple, no study needed.

In any case, I am therefore currently reading a book to get more in touch. I thought Ophrah was a nice lady, but I certainly don't want her actually running the country. I confess I've heard of the Illuminati, New World Order, Elders of Zion but really haven't bothered to learn anything about them (not at all short and simple, of course), and I didn't know there was a problem of with the Bilderbergers at all. Sheriff Joe? Oh. :) Obama as a Manchurian candidate. Secret communist symbols hidden in the decor at Rockefeller Center. Obama's brother George. Lady Gaga's involvement in an anti-American cult. Even W's joining with Clinton re MENA. This is big stuff, some of it anyway.

My book's only in the early 1800s, though, with the arrest (9/11 in 1826!) and disappearance of William Morgan after his revelations about the Masonic conspiracy. So in the meantime I'll have to resort to googling some of the various discussions.

I signed both of my boys up today for classes at the community college. Thank goodness I have a Pell grant for both of them that pays most of their tuition because books for 6 classes cost $800!!!!! Yes I said 800, that was not a typo for only six classes. Luckily, the 7th class my son already had the book from his previous calc class and they are using the same book this semester. This outrageous ad has already been debunked, but good grief! Talk about dirty politics. This man's wife became ill and died 5-6 years after Romney left Bain; he was Gov. of MA by then.
