I wake up, what day is it?

I'm driving down the road, what clothes did I wear yesterday???

Questions like that pop in my head a weird times and then I blank out!

I remember eventualy, but it freaks me out for a moment.

Everybody's mind when waking up is cloudy and you should not think about other things when driving down the road.

The other day I started to freak out because I couldn't find my cell phone. I was talking on it.

Same thing with sunglasses on my head.

Hahaha, I thought I was the only one who did this - Glad I am not alone!

I'll even walk into the kitchen, stand there and go totally blank on WHY I went in there. At least if I wander into the bathroom, I have some small clue about WHY I went in that direction, lol!

I've done the same thing with my reading glasses; they'll be pushed up onto the top of my head and I'll completely tear up my desk looking for them.

I guess I'll just write it off to MTitis in that we work so danged hard we don't have time to pay attention to the "little" things! :P

I chalk it up to sensory overload. I've got my husband asking me various questions like "where did I put my keys", my kids each trying to ask me something at the same time, 2 phones ringing, the dog barking, and I'm trying to keep everything together with the house and work!

No wonder I freak out and can't remember things. lol

had soup in a pot simmering and put some toast in then I stood staring at the counter for what seemed like an eternity wondering what I was making for dinner.

I'm not so sure we should laugh it all off. Similar has happened to me too, but probably we ought to do brain exercises regularly as well as get our medical-legal affairs in order. It is much more worrisome to me to lose mental capability than to lose physical function.
