Showing my age here. I was telling my adult son how I had my own apartment, bought furniture, lived on my own, drove a Firebird, all on $3.65/hour working full-time. After paying all my bills I usually had between $25-50 left for 2 weeks until next paycheck and I was able to make it last! It really doesn't seem like that long ago (early 80s). Then I got into MT and whoa doggies, the money started piling in! I felt RICH making $6.80 plus incentive (which brought it up around $18/hour).
Sometimes I wish for that simple life again, single, living on my own, had money all the time. I guess there's no going back, right?
