So....what did you ladies think of Magic Mike?

I thought the language was a little much....I mean, come on, nobody cusses and uses the F word that much, do they? Aside from that, I thought the story was cute, and the dancing was pretty hot. I have never been to a male strip tease show, but I am told that men make more at it than women.
It's funny because all of the women in our family, and large circle of friends, went together. It is really not a good movie for men (even if they were gay). None of the men, of course, wanted to see it, but they all wanted to hear about it...but Grandma, cousins, aunts, their friends, sisters, and our friends just said, "Oh, it was good." Not 1 detail! Drove them nuts I could tell.

Also, the Mickey Rourke wanna be, who doesn't say 2 words in the movie and is completely superfluous was just icky...Channing Tatum was a revelation and while I never really liked him before - he was wonderful in this movie - i did not like the young stripper or his sister. Just my 2 cents :)
