Silent House, anyone?

Going to see Silent House on Wednesday. The previews look so scary that it was one I just can't pass up (and free passes help!).

Has anyone seen it yet and, if so, was it as scary as it looks?

(Geez, it's going to feel great to get out of the house and away from the computer for a few hours for lunch and a movie with my husband!)

Anyone else seen any really good flicks lately?

the bejesus out of me, but I used to believe in and try astral projection when I was growing up. My mother was really big into Edgar Cayce and stuff like that. Hope the movie is better than the reviews. I'm wathing One Step Beyond, a series from the 1950s, on Hulu. Kind of cool.

I grew up with my mom watching this show faithfully and I think I saw most of the episodes several times. Although I was really young at the time, I remember finding OSB much creepier than Twilight Zone.

with a friend of his and they both thought it sucked. His friend, Julie, likes to see scary movies but she gets really scared most of the time when my son, Tyler, says they were not scary at all, but even Julie said it was not scary and sucked, so it is probably not worth it. At least enjoy your day out, maybe see a different movie. I think any time out with the hubby is a good time no matter whether the movie is good or not, so enjoy!

saw The Woman in Black and really enjoyed it, even made my husband jump in one part (which I still laugh about). I love those types of movies and wanted to see Silent House too. Maybe you could let us know what you think. I have also seen John Carter and it was good too. Just go and have a good time with hubby.

I only have 2 close friends who still love horror movies (my absolute all time fave? The original Psycho), and hubs is a huge chicken & talks through the parts that build in intensity so that it ends up sucking. I finally got blackout curtains in our TV room and DVR them. Have fun!!

Did a little shopping with the hubby, had a nice salad bar lunch out at Sizzler, then saw the movie and LOVED it. I thought it was really suspenseful and creepy, although I don't know if I'd classify it as a horror movie as much as a psychological thriller. Now it's time to start my shift, but, WOW, did it feel to get out of the house today for a few hours and enjoy some "normal" activities (Thank you, IRS, for the much-needed refund!)

Soon I will be working 3 jobs, and my 2 house kitties are already bored (they can't stand each other so don't play together, etc.).
