It is quite strange that they are not identifying the shooter since he asked the ones he shot if they were Christian. I have a feeling that this has something to do with ISIS or someone radicalized. This has not been a good day for Israel, us or anyone else. Too many lies, not enough information, and downright betrayal at the UN. I wish we would get out of the UN right now.;

So, if guns were not so readily available, perhaps the mentally ill (because a person really has to be mentally ill to do this sort of thing) would not be performing these acts. The description of mentally ill isn't a crutch, it is a reality. And then we must make the realization that many, many people are just a road rage incident away from mental illness (or whatever trigger, someone took the last cupcake at the grocery store???) The guns just cannot be so available.

Even though he is clearly mixed race. So that's why someone felt compelled to correct them. It's a double standard if you don't like the correction. It was not just the facts if it was wrong.

No race should be mentioned, but if it is and incorrect, it should be corrected.

The shooter was identified yesterday on a news channel as black. I have a mixed family, white and black both. I see his father and he is white. I see a picture of the shooter's half sister and she is mixed. Most of the time when these shootings occur they are done by white guys. I have not seen a picture of the shooter but possibly a mixture of black and white but waiting for the picture.

I watched the news, both Fox and CNN. The officer in charge of the case refused to identify the shooter, as he did not want to give him the 10 minutes of fame he was seeking. I applaud that. However, the shooter's father was interviewed, I believe from California, and he was white (not that it matters, just trying to state what I saw), and he obviously had some kind of accent. Apparently, the shooter was on some websites of known anti-AMerica boards and posting crap. He was armed to the teeth and could have taken out a lot more, but the police arrived fast, and took him out. Doesn't matter who or why or what. We need to find a way to fix this. My daughter leaves for college in a year, and I am scared to death. I know it can happen anywhere, but schools seem to be the place of choice, knowing it hurts us deeper, our children. Hope this helps.
