I went on there for a few minutes last night and the posters on that site are all nuts! They hate everything that stands for America and hate religion, period. They goad others into taking their "brave" postings into reality, IOW following through with threats. I thought the FBI should investigate this site then learned a couple hours later that they ARE investigate every post on there..

As it was pointed out by different law enforcement personnel. those in the mental health field, and/or those who study the reasons for these shootings, they have noticed that most mass shootings happen in GUN FREE ZONES and by someone with MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS, yet no one wants to talk about remedies for mental health problems, yet they want to jump on gun owners all the time and talk about taking away the guns.

Today, it was made public that the shooter left a multipage hateful writing explanation, had 4 hand guns on him, 1 long gun, and 7 to 9 more guns at home, that he was fascinated by guns, that some were bought BY him and others bought FOR him by others and all were legal.

But it doesn't matter....this is just another ploy for more gun control or taking the guns away completely. Look at NY state. The liberal "communist" which is how I describe anyone who wants to take away most of our freedoms, tried to force the gun owners to register their guns in a database. The idea slowly and quietly went away (as far as I know) when the gun owners refused to comply and that's what you have to do if confronted with losing any of our freedoms. Some you can't do anything about but most can.

What I'd find disgusting is Obama coming out a couple hours after the shooting and carrying on about this...yet never said anything about the cops that were shot, the Black Lives Matter movement that goads blacks to shoot and kill whites and cops -- and, thankfully, arresting the woman for doing that exact thing through a video while pointing a hand gun and machete at the camer-- and never, EVER anything about the strictest gun control/gun free cities and states that have the highest violent crime rates in the country, like Chicago with 50 shootings in one weekend.

The thinking is all screwed up but that's okay. We'll just take the guns away and these crimes will stop....pie in the sky attitudes. Over 300,000 murders were done in the U.K. last year with knives and machetes. Take away the gun and it'll be whatever other weapon they decide to use.

Here's some facts for you:
In 1967, the California legislature passed the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act (LPS), which allowed local, private (i.e., non-state) mental facilities to accept more patients—particularly those with more treatable or milder forms of mental illness.

Governor Reagan signed the bill into law; in his view, this was a win-win: mental health patients would receive treatments, and in turn the funding to state mental facilities could be reduced. Of course, the state facilities cried foul at the cut in funding, even though in theory they were not being under-funded. Of course, with a lower case load, treatments improved; however, some facilities reduced headcount.

Without a requirement that all mental health patients go to public facilities, many borderline individuals simply refused private treatment as was their right. Later, the Carter administration signed into law the Mental Health Systems Act of 1980, which largely promoted the same idea for national facilities.

In other words, BIPARTISAN policies recommended that the Federal government TRANSFER GOVERNMENT FUNDING BACK TO THE STATES. In 1986, he also signed into a law another BIPARTISAN solution to have Medicaid assist with funding. THE LAWS DIDN'T CLOSE A SINGLE FACILITY.

THE FACT IS THAT STATES CLOSED SOME FACILITIES AND LET STAFF GO AT OTHERS DUE TO THEIR OWN BUDGET ISSUES, NOT because Reagan signed any BIPARTISAN law.

In El Dorado County, CA, a similar plot to shoot up a school was successfully stopped - not only because students who became suspicious told someone, but more importantly, because the school LISTENED.

That's the effective way to deal with gun-toting whackos, instead of actually BECOMING just another gun-toter.

These shootings happen in gun free zones and most crime happens in gun free zones (Chicago, NY, Baltimore, etc.) The average gun owner is NOT going out shooting people. It's beyond ridiculous that left can't understand this. These shootings are happening in places in which there are strict gun laws. Instead of understanding the root of the problem and working to solve it, Obama's idea is to further tighten gun laws.
