I have a question and ask that you all please not laugh

at me, but do you believe in being cursed? I am 48 and have had a horrible life from the time I was 12. If I told you the stuff that has happened to me, you probably would not believe it. Anyway, I have heard people say that playing with the Ouija board can open up the portal and bring bad luck, which I have had nothing but for years. Anyway, just curious.

If you have had very bad luck, an unpleasant life, I would suggest finding a spiritual person you feel comfortable with and discussing this with them. There may be something they can say, suggest, do that might help you with whatever your issues are.

I do believe there are forces, entities, energy, whatever one cares to call it, that are at work in our life. I also believe there are angels who watch over us to an extent and help protect us.

Then again, there are evil entities or persons who are in our lives. My husband suffered terrible abuse as a child and his mother was very, very messed up; preaching southern baptist hellfire and damnation if you didnt behave, but taking a 5-yo child to movies like Rosemary's Baby. Talk about one effed up woman...

I hope you find resolution to your issues and peace in your life.

I know that it is possible to bring a chain of bad events into your life by playing with a Ouija board or doing other witchcraft. But more importantly, these can be erased by praying to God for his protection. HE gives us protection against these things. I pray and wish all the best for you.

If you think places can be cursed, do you also believe neighbors can be cursed? I really believe the psycho woman who lives below me in an apt. is sending her bad vibes up here constantly for the last 6 years. I believe it but my husband thinks I am nuts.

You may actually be hearing her without being consciously aware of it.

However, I know a good many people who are so toxic their bad vibes radiate right through walls.

It is unfortunate that you live above one, but you don't have to let her vibes through the floor. Just shield your floor. Yes, really. It is easy and free.

It works by intent. You don't want the vibes coming through, so you INTEND to keep them out. You WANT to keep them out. You have a good reason and are not going to do anything to harm her or interfere with her. You are just going to protect your space.

It is nothing more complicated than putting up an umbrella in the rain or a tent in the woods. It is nothing more complicated than laying a floor to keep your feet dry. Those are good things which you can do. You know why you do them. You know how to do them.

If it were me, I would go outside and soak up sunshine and fresh air. Stand near trees and absorb energy. Feel it flowing in. Feel it push stale energy's. Fill up. Go home and sit quietly, thinking about laying a floor. I want a nice red brick floor.

In my mind, I go buy beautiful bricks. I bring them home. I stack them in piles. I mix mortar. I start in one corner, spreading mortar. I fit bricks into it in beautiful patterns, like a quilt. I move over the entire floor, feeling the bricks, feeling the mortar, making every action real. The whole time, I think about how secure my floor will be. Nothing can get through it except goodness. It won't hurt the lady below. She won't even notice. It will even help her not to be bothered by me. The door works both ways. I might even make brick walls.

When I am finished, I admire the floor and see that nothing is coming through. The floor is perfect.

Every so often, I check my floor for deterioration. I may need to repair it.

That is all you need to do. It helps to be confident that it will work, but not absolutely necessary. It is only necessary that you INTEND it to work. If you are not sure it will work, just focus on wanting it to work. Do it with a "let's see" attitude.

It doesn't matter how or why it works. Enjoy the experience.

Not everyone has the same luck, some bad, some good but now would not play with the board again.

when my child would be born. I was pregnant at the time. It came up DEC 29, and actually my son was born on FEB 6, but to me it seemed very strange that it came up with a date in the first place, albeit the wrong one. It scared me, and I wouldn't touch one again. Have heard some bad stories.

If you invite evil in, it will gladly remain, but it is your mind focusing on the evil... not some play thing. Also, the things that are happening to you may not be attributable to "bad luck," but again, where you are focusing your attention. If you want GOOD things in your life, concentrate on good things only. You can also smudge your house and surroundings with burning sage, telling the "evil spirits" to leave by invoking the name of Jesus Christ... and if there are any there, they will leave. Again, it is all where you are focusing your attention. You think bad thoughts, bad things will happen to you. If you think good thoughts, good thoughts will happen to you. The universe responds to your thoughts. So be careful in what your mind is sending out, for that is what you will get in return. This is a proven fact. Look it up. and good luck. Not laughing at you at all, but I see no benefit in believing in evil forces and other mystical things. We can control our own lives. I think one could go kablonkers thinking evil spirits are surrounding you and out to get you. I'm glad I don't believe in that stuff---life is hard enough as it is!

You can take control of your life. You may need some guidance from a licensed, non-religious, non-mystical person, but I would not go around thinking something bad is out to get you.

Saw this before, troll who follows my posts and also poster is known here. There are about 150 to 200 plus people anytime on here and I am questioning when people say they know who follows them or they know a particular poster. By the way, this is not a person following you, am just wanting some answers.

How or why would someone think a troll was following them around? I think they are referring to the fact that every time they post, someone disagrees. They assume the disagree-er is someone specific who is trailing them, when it is just a large number of people who disagree with what the OP said, because the OP typically says disagreeable things. They can't see why anyone would disagree, because to them whatever they said makes perfect sense. They are looking for support for their ideas, not disagreement.

As for recognizing certain people who post here, it is easy to do if you have been here a while and read everything on certain boards. You become able to recognize some people by their writing style, their topics, and what they say about them. Then, of course, there are the people who use the same screen name all the time.

I don't think we should laugh at her. I feel sorry for people, actually, who are so frightened and taken in by this stuff.

I used to play the Ouija board as a teen, and I used to purposefully make the thing move to sort of goof on my girlfriend who believed in it. I would never do that to anyone now because I think it's mean, but there are plenty of charlatans out there just waiting for people like the OP, and suck in their money--or otherwise get some sort of thrill watching them squirm.

OP, settle yourself down. It's a piece of cardboard or wood or whatever it is.

For the board to be evil there would have to be a curse, which would mean someone in the toy factory would have to be putting an evil curse on every board they make. Just doesn't make sense. I am one of the posters above. I want to explain in more depth.

The Ouija board is not a harmless game. You use it to contact the spirit world. What many people do not know is that the spirits you are contacting are the evil demons. Before the world was created, the angel Lucifer rebelled against God, along with 1/3 of the angels. Lucifer became Satan and his angels the evil demons. When you contact them you can give them power over your life to shape events, although I don't know exactly how it is done by them. I can't warn everyone enough, don't play with a Ouija board or otherwise contact the spirit world !! And, always pray to God for his protection !! Believe me, a Ouiji Board is not necessary! You can do it in lots of other ways. Just look at the well-respected "Christian" preachers and others who live lives of lies, thieving, and sexual depravity. What, exactly, do you think that is and how do you think they got there?
