my clothes and sometimes have to wear cotton gardening gloves to keep my hands warm. I'm over 70 and have arthritis in my hands and can't do MT anymore, so am living on SS and a tiny weany pension from the hospital. I have always donated whatever I could to the Salvation Army's heating assistance program and now I'm the one who needs assistance. No, you are not selfish for wanting go pay your own heating bills. You are for thinking $1 a month is too much to help someone else in need.
