a "Christian" woman requires you to tolerate abuse and endure the kind of unconscionable scrutiny and control you are currently experiencing? Do you deserve to be treated like that? If not, then what is it about being a "Christian" woman that would force you to tolerate treatment you do not deserve?

It appears you simply made a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes. There is no reason why this mistake should last for the rest of your life.

If you want out, then get out. You have a right to decide that your husband's behavior is not acceptable and remove yourself from the relationship.
