I applied. I make minimum wage with MUP. I don't qualify for a subsidy. It costs more for less coverage than the crap I have with Nuance.

sign up. I am 71 and am on Medicare, that nasty single-payer plan. I pay almost $300 a month and can see any doctor I please anywhere in the country.

The reason you are not eligible for a subsidy for your healthcare is because your employer provides insurance as a benefit, albeit not very good insurance. That should change soon as more ACA requirements kick in and employers are required to provide insurance in accordance with the law. If you are very low income you may be eligible for Medicaid or help from your state.

The subsidies go up to $45,000 for a single person. If you are making minimum wage you are most definitely going to receive a subsidy. If your employer offers health insurance but it costs you more than, I believe 9.5% of your annual income, you can enroll in ObamaCare and yes, you definitely will receive a subsidy to help pay for it.

You might want to go to the Marketplace web site and call the toll free number to get further assistance with this. You probably fall under the special enrollment category and can switch plans outside of the regular enrollment period.

This is well worth checking into if you make minimum wage and if you currently are paying greater than 9.5% of your income with your employer sponsored insurance. Make the call tomorrow. You may well save mega bucks on your insurance costs.

However, I have more than 1 job just to sort of make ends meet. That's probably why. Working harder gets you nowhere these days it would seem.

Doctors also have stated that there is now a comfort-care mindset only in treating these patients; Obamacare not interested in actual medical treatment, but rather just "keep them comfortable". Unfortunately, it IS NOT WORKING FOR MOST AMERICANS; HOPEFULLY THE SUPREME COURT WILL AGREE and get rid of this socialist nightmare.

MAJORITY OF PEOPLE ON OBAMACARE CITE THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS:
Premiums too high to keep up with.
Out of pocket expenses too high.
Refusing to go to doctor because they cannot afford out of pocket.
Refusing to get scripts filled because cannot afford out of pocket.
Obamacare not taken at thousands of hospitals and doctors; so, they cannot get care close to home; forced to travel. Yeah - great when you are sick.
Obamacare "tells" the patient's what is acceptable for treatment, not their doctors (if they can find one that takes it).
Majority cannot see their previous doctors since being "forced" on to Obamacare Medicare.

Obamacare NOT HEALTH CARE; IT IS A DEATH SENTENCE!

I hope it gets there some day. Too bad you can't see for yourself what you could possibly get. I was quite shocked at what the cost was for so little. The 60 percent plan was around 250 dollars a month. Medicare pays better than 60 percent doesn't it? One could still lose a house with one admission to the hospital at having to pay 40 percent.

Let's see what the total is AFTER those that signed up PAY UP.

Remember the last time how they bragged about the millions that signed up then had to back track because half of them didn't pay the premiums?

Why can't this administration be truthful instead of putting out lies all the time? It would go much, much further in trusting this administration than what they continue to lie...but I guess they don't understand the difference. Such a shame.
