Those electors who change their votes in most states will be BREAKING THE LAW. Some will have their votes annulled or cancelled out and will be replaced by an alternate and/or face fines up to $1,000.
Hillary only had 236 elector votes. Trump had 306. You think 68 electors are going to change their votes? I don't think so. Not from what I read.
It's just a pipe dream of the far left and trying to start and/or keep division of the people. It's time the left stops being crybabies, stop feeding ignorance to a young population who hasn't studied election law and how government works and start trying to get along with the rest of the country who followed the rules. Please explain how this is going to work, are the petitioners planning to invade the White House and throw Trump out? I would bet that many of the people whose names are on that petition aren't even registered voters. There have been other situations where a candidate won the popular vote and lost the election and I've heard that Trump actually ended up the clear winner after all the votes were counted. I'm a lifelong Democrat but I had to leave Facebook because my liberal friends won't leave this alone, they also badmouth the Trump family for stupid things and enough is enough. I say let's give him a chance, he actually has a few decent ideas. He's definitely unconventional but maybe that's what we need.

The petition will not work. It's too late. Trump has been chosen overwhelmingly by the American people. He won the electoral college AND the popular vote. So what do they want? To have the popular and electoral thrown away and win by illegal votes?
When Obama won the first election we were told to "grow up" "get a grip" "sour grapes" and a whole barrage of other nasties. Now is the time they make good on all their name calling.
The electoral college will not vote against what the people want. They represent us and will comply with our will. The electoral college will vote Trump. It's too bad they are getting death threats from Soros and "it's" minions.
The electoral college also will vote with the people for Trump because that is why we have an electoral college, so that the people in each state have an equal say in the election and it isn't mob rule. Every American's vote should matter. Electoral college will vote Trump, because that is the way the people voted.
Another factor is the big plan. This is God's will. It makes no difference what they want or any of us for that matter. The only thing that matters is His will. "Thy will be done". He has already spoken. Many have seen the prophesy of a Trump presidency. That's another reason I didn't vote for "it", because I am with God.

Each state has a certain number of "points" or electoral votes based on the population of each state. This ensures that we all have a say in who wins the presidency, not just a couple of cities. This ensures the president to act in a manner that is good for the entire country, not just Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles.
There will be another election in 2 years, another presidential election in 4 years. Let us not throw out our wonderful constitution for candidate who did not, after all, win the majority of votes (just a plurality) and lost the majority of states. We are not a banana republic.
After all, about 52% of the voters did NOT vote for Hillary!!!!
