Mr. Limbaugh should be very pleased with himself. He is an original and chooses to use his own words and not parrot anyone else. I've noticed on this board that a lot of the left wing radicals opt to use his words and phrases, such as drive bys or drive thrus, hit and runs, etc., etc. I wish I could remember them all. It is really giving me a chuckle. Thank you, libs, for the kicks and giggles. I'm sure Rush is pleased to know you are listening. :-);

to finally ask something I've wondered about for a long time. I don't really see any political content in your post, but since you seem to be a big fan of Mr. Limbaugh, perhaps you can tell me why you're not insulted to be referred to as a dittohead.

I'm usually working when he's on the air, but I occasionally hear his "Week in Review" on Saturdays. Although I've never heard him say dittohead, I don't think I would be offended by it. I have enough confidence to know that my thinking is independent. Maybe others would be offended, I don't know. I hope this answered your question.

I don't care if your post meets the 'political posting' sniff test, but your snarkiness isn't as hidden as you might think. The right is constantly challenging posts that make them uncomfortable and one of the ways they do that is to call 'foul' on the political content.

The last I listened, which was admittedly years ago so maybe he doesn't say it anymore, he said every single show, particularly when reading mail from his listeners.

He is just nasty, nasty, nasty, just like Sean Hannity. I once thought I was a right wing person, but it only took me a few minutes of listening to those two buffoons to realize what the right wing is about. Basically trying to stir up hate with little or no material. But they manage.

For instance, I listened to Hannity once and his whole show was playing Teddy Kennedy singing "Danny Boy" and how awful he is = Irish drunk I guess = I guess you are supposed to hate him.

Why? Don't we all know somebody "Irish" who sings Danny Boy badly at family affairs? Probably even Sean Hannity does on occasion. But somehow it was horrible coming from Kennedy and meant he was the devil.

Rush is not as dumb as Hannity but he is just plain nasty to me. I know they think he is such a great story teller, but the stories he tells have one goal, making old and reality-challenged people hate minorities, liberals, anyone who threatens old white America.

I am glad I'm not from Missouri. A statue - to THAT man? They oughta be ashamed of propping him up even further.

Maybe they should call Missouri - the snow me state?
