What are your thoughts on this bill being passed

could now be in even greater jeopardy of being arrested and imprisoned indefinitely, with no right to a trial? Pretty scary. And note, this is neither a Repub or a Dem issue, this is an issue that goes against the Constitution. Apparently at the last minute, it's being realized that language was taken out of the original bill, clarifying that US Citizens could not just be swept off the streets and imprisoned without due justice and a trial. Now the ABSENCE of that part of the bill puts everyday citizens in jeopardy, because all the government would have to do is label anything they do that it doesn't like as "low-level terrorism", and poof - they're gone.

Your fears are NOT unfounded. Historical patterns do repeat, and history tells us where this is all going. (Some of us knew it when the so-called "Patriot Act" passed.)
We are treading in deep waters, and it's only getting worse.

2012 may not turn out to be a good year, but is sure promises to be an ENTERTAINING one.

My father passed away this morning. He was in the nursing home and had been in the hosptial a week or so ago with respiratory distress. Got better and went back to the nursing home.
