It's not unbelievable to me. In fact, I'm not - sm
[ In Reply To ..]surprised in the least. The republicans are against anything and everything that Obama supports. It does not matter if it hurts the United States.
In fact, I believe they WANT to hurt the United States since it seems that they only want very rich and very poor to live in this country. More and more people are dropping from the middle class to the poor class under the House's rule.
It goes hand in hand with the republicans wanting to stop overtime pay. It smacks of slavery, which I believe is exactly what they want.
They've crafted a no-win situation - OP

All he has to do is not sign it and then he's blamed for not funding the military.
It's just another personal assault on Obama because there's absolutely no other reason this bill makes sense.

I have no problem with letting actual terrorists sit in jail for an indeterminate time, but we don't even know if some of these people have done anything wrong. It reminds me of the Japanese detention camps. :(
