...and yes, civilians die in war. No one ever said they didn't, and you can hit a target precisely and still kill civilians, by the way.
A lot of the "civilians", however, weren't. Most of them died after the active phase had ended, and they were participating in insurgencies. A significant number of true civilians were killed by insurgents who didn't care who or what they bombed.
What is a few hundred in civilian casualities? - Can you say "Yay"

Thanks to the U.S. Drone strikes, guess we are getting "somewhere in the war on terror."
Keep up the good work Nobel Peace prize winner Obama.
Wonder what Obama's plans are on rendition?

Debate diversions might take you down a path you really don't want to travel.
Taking an intel approach and going after Al-Q leadership and operatives holds the promise of saving thousands and thousands of lives on the ground. So does diplomacy and engaging the Moslem world in joining the WOT in ways that can weaken and ultimately undermine the appeal of extremist terrorist groups. These are strategies that dumbo never explored, who preferred drawing "you are either for us or against us" lines in the sand, fighting a grudge war based on WMD lies while ignoring Afghanistan, shock and awe bombardments, civilian casualties topping out at more than 100,000, mission accomplished declarations followed by years of fighting...that was his approach to national security.
If you want to go down that road of comparing body counts, think again. The 359 civilian casualties suffered over the entire year pales in comparison to 7443 civilians killed in the first 2 months of 2003 during the invasion (20 times as many in 60 days). Better look before you leap into that line of argument in your haste to detract from Obama's more progressive strategy in the WOT that has netted 3 significant intel captures in less than 10 days.
You just don't want to stay on task cause you can't find any poop to sling at him if you do.
