New data prove: Top 1% captured 95 PERCENT of

Posted: Sep 12, 2013

When people speak of social engineering, this is what they SHOULD be thinking of. The remodeling of our nation into a few dozen ruling families who now OWN over 90% of our country, and the hundreds of millions who do not, in spite of investments in ownership through our 401Ks, our homes, and so on.

BTW, newest data show that, although the "recovery" has been ongoing for a few years now, the bottom 99% of incomes has hardly started to recover. Stagnant, while prices for food and gas have soared.
Since the recovery began, the top 1% captured 95% of income gains.

The newest data also show that, although the "recovery" has been ongoing for a few years now, for the "bottom" 99% of usve incomes has "hardly started to recover" (specifically, our total share of income growth was 0.4%). Stagnant, while prices for food and gas have soared. But then we knew that. When I was my granddaughter's age, there was not such thing as a "bottom 99%."

Since the recovery began, the top 1% have captured 95% of income gains. Captured being the operative word. This is not economic gravity at work, but their profits from "getting government off the backs of business."

Business actually referring to any person with a great deal of money who wanted much, much, much more.

Government actually referring to the working classes who once were part of a fair deal--because they insisted on it.

Judging Stimulus By Job Data Reveals SuccessFeb 17, 2010
Imagine if, one year ago, Congress had passed a stimulus bill that really worked. Let’s say this bill had started spending money within a matter of weeks and had rapidly helped the economy. Let’s also imagine it was large enough to have had a huge impact on jobs — employing something like two million people who would otherwise be unemployed right now. If that had happened, what would the economy look like today? Well, it would look almost exactly as it does now. Because thos ...

Elusive Crime Wave Data Shows Frightening Toll Sep 16, 2015
