The problem is, they're trying to lift them out of the toilet with some toilet language. This is pitiful. This is what happens to a news station who doesn't report news.

Their Boston Bombing reporting, along with CNN and AP, are testaments as to why this is happening. Their "arrest has been made" story is a good case in point. NBC and CBS: "No arrest has been made." Maybe at least some of their viewers tune in for the cable news media side-show, which they can be relied upon to deliver.

Beyond having the word "public" in common, they are two entirely separate entities. The PPP poll simply found that PBS was the only broadcast outlet that garnered the trust of a majority of respondents. The reality disconnect the rest of your comments convey is alarming, yet somehow sadly predictable.

This past week we discovered what folks who nurture dissociative mindsets and mood disorders, such as unbridled hatred, are capable of. That their long-term outcomes are decidedly bleak is no laughing matter.

I just don't get people. Let me be clear - I LOVE Anthony Bourdain. He paints a verbal picture like very few people can. He's willing to try anything and is completely open minded and he's sarcastic and witty and I freaking love him.

I think if you actually look at the show that they are talking about (and I did watch that show) there might be 2, maybe 3 swear words that are blanked out.

I'm just not sure why people are getting riled up about it.
