Suppose McCain had won the 2008 election.

What specifically do you think he would have done differently that would have us in a better economic position now?

Sarah's personal shoppers would have boosted retail - Military spending increased

and the rest of us would have to "sacrifice" even more.

more tax cuts for - the rich

so they can create more jobs. LOL YEAH RIGHT!

No different than now - Tax cuts for the rich happening - under your guy

It's good to be rich and uber-rich under Obama. They love him.

Ah, the truth at last! - Nothing has changed. nm

I know. I don't know why they think the rich don't get tax cuts - under your guy - sm

under democrats (president or congress). Nothing ever changes. Oh sure any candidate can say they are going to make the rich pay their fare share. But it never happens. Wall street absolutely LOVED Billy. They made tons of money while he was in office. They also liked Bush and they also LOVE Obama. They are making tons of money.
Republicans were going to take away unemployment - Bush tax cuts for the rich
[ In Reply To ..]
Everytime they try to end the Bush tax cuts for the rich, the Republicans throw a tantrum and try to pass bills to take away unemployment and shut down the government. I wonder if the unemployed remember the game of chicken the Republicans played with their earned benefits that kept them 1 step from being homeless. Remember Boehner "Where are the Jobs". What has Boehner done to create some jobs?
Ah, yes. Christmas 2010. Who could forget how GOP held - UI checks hostage

and scrooged up that holiday by threatening to throw millions of job seekers and their families out on the streets while they were preparing for their 14-day paid winter break? President Obama made the right decision on THEIR behalf, though it was quite a spectacle to see his being forced into submitting to the intractable demands of extortion and blackmail.

I know. It's amazing, too, consdiering he's a socialist. - He's a lousy one.

Since he didn't win nobody knows. This looks like another - attempt to take focus off issues

going on today. McCain didn't win. You could go through hundreds of politicians names imagining what they would or wouldn't do. This looks like a trolling post meant only to stir up hate towards republicans. Ahh- and see some felt for the bait too.

And my opinion is the poster wrote this for the mere hate factor. McCain did not win. If anyone thinks they know what anyone would do in certain cases, please do share with me your super power ESP on what you presume to think anyone would do. I could make a fortune off of it at the carnival shows.

Saying what would McCain do is like saying, what would Regan do, or Kerry, or Clinton, or Paul, or Kucinich, or Fidel, or Putin, or Hitler...oh wait. Get it. Since people are not in the position then nobody can say oh I know he would do this or that, because the simple truth is nobody has ESP or is a mind reader and knows what anyone would do in certain cases.

And I have a right to post my opinion too. No one is forcing you to reply to me.

I think the military budget would not have been cut and..sm - VTMT

the withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan would have been slower; but, otherwise, I don't think a McCain administration would have looked much different than the Obama administration looks today.

President Obama Clashes With McCain InMay 25, 2010
