No one can possibly be more in sympathy than I am with respect to the positive aspects of electing a woman as President of the United States.

...but not just ANY woman, because there traits other than mere gender that MUST be condiered..

Hillary Clinton has specifically stated that she will continue - and even extend - a number of the policies of the current administration, including "affordable" healthcare and immigration.

I have three children - two daughters and a son - and I can see what is coming over the horizon if we don't take IMMEDIATE steps to reverse the trends that have been in play over the last 8 years.

Do you really know what is happening in Europe, and what will surely happen here? No one with a child who truly understands this can possibly desire the future that Hillary Clinton proposes.

We've learned, to our sorrow, that electing a President almost exclusively on the basis of race (i.e., without really looking at him closely) was extremely short-sighted. And in making this mistake it's now highly unliikely that another black President will be elected for a very long time.

Let's not make the same mistake on the basis of gender. I can wait for the right woman.

I will be completely honest and admit I've only voted for someone I WANTED to vote for the first time I voted for Clinton, and the first time I voted for Obama (and I was a registered republican lol).

Every other presidential vote has been the lesser of 2 evils. This time I will probably sit it out. I can't in good conscious vote for either one of them. I truly believe we are effed either way.

There are Neanderthals out there who claim women should not be allowed to vote. When I read tripe like this I can see why they think so.

For heaven's sake, there is nothing empowering to anyone by electing a corrupt socialist/globalist to the presidency because she has a vagina.

If you are a globalist/socialist, and corruption in high places does not bother you, then by all means vote for Hillary if that is the kind of world you want to live in. And if Hillary Clinton represents what you want, then fine, you have made a decision based on reason, not emotion. (Personally having lived through the last Clinton presidency, wherein my 10-year-old learned what a "B*J" is, the last thing I want to live through is another one, to learn about any other perversions that presently neither my grandchildren or I know about.)

But those are the ONLY reasons you should be voting for Hillary.

Otherwise, look at what the candidates stand for, and ask yourself what kind of country you want to live in, and how you want your govt to function, and vote accordingly.

Please do not under any circumstances vote for a female candidate because of a foolish notion that this somehow "empowers" women. It does not. What "empowers" women is using our brains and knowledge to elect honest, intelligent and capable people to office, people who will spend our tax dollars wisely and frugally, who will be honest and fair to all, male or female, rich or poor, who will uphold our constitution and our laws, and protect our country's interests, selflessly.

Somehow, I suspect that you would never consider voting for a conservative woman. You would not find this empowering, would you?

So what this says to me, is that you are thoughtless and inconsistent, making us all look foolish, inviting and justifying the condemnation of overbearing tyrannical male troglodytes who would love to "disempower" women, claiming we are all illogical emotional, basically very silly, people who do not use their brains when they go into the voting booth.
