Question for Obamacare opponents and

Yesterday the House GOP held their 43rd SYMBOLIC vote to repeal Obamacare. Since their swearing in as the majority House party Jan 3, 2011, as of May 15, 2013, the GOP had taken a measley 281 votes out of the 897 days that have transpired since then. Anyway, as of May 15, 2013, 43 of those votes have been to repeal Obamacare. Not sure if this one is number 44 or if I missed a few between May 15 and now.

That's a full 15% of their time spent on these useless "shout outs" to their base. BTW, in May the price tag for all this futility was estimated to be in the neighborhood of $55,000,000. We all know how many better ways we could find to use those lost revenues. We all also realize that the hidden agenda here is to rally that base which remains suspended in a perpetual need to be propped up on account of having nothing else whatsoever to offer up in terms of palatable policies except perhaps a never-ending supply of easily debunked boy-cried-wolf Issa-esque Obama scandals.

So my question to Obamacare opponents and sequester supporters is: When will enough be enough? How can you possibly justify such a criminal waste of time and money? Please be specific.

But the main reason Obamacare is encountering obstacles is simple: the American people do not want it. Recent polls show 54 percent of Americans oppose the law, 53 percent want opponents to “continue trying to change or stop it,” and 56 percent want to return what we had before.

You think those poll numbers trump the 15%, 44 and - 55,000,000 numbers? Really?

I won't argue polls with you, other than to say the ones I saw just last week do not have numbers in the 50s. What I will say about polls is this: If Americans are so dead-set against Obamacare, why did 65,899,660 show up at the polls last November and deliver it's author a second term in office?

Fact is, like it or not, Obamacare is now law that has survived SCOTUS challenge. The GOP did NOT gain a majority in the Senate in 2012 because Senate districts cannot be gerrymandered to death like House rep districts have been. You and I both know that a House Obamacare repeal vote is a deliberate waste of time and money, just like GOP filibusteritis is.

My question stands unanswered. When will enough be enough? How genuine can alleged fiscal conservatives be if they are willing not only to turn a blind eye to this willful waste, but to actually be direct perpetrators? Does the hypocrisy ever weigh on their conscience? How can ANY of them expect to be taken seriously when voting time comes around again? Do they think this is going to help them gain power or win elections? Really?

Your on a rant there. Some people do not want Obamacare for whatever reason. Is that a crime? I did not vote for Bush and I did not vote for Obama because they were both bad choices from what I saw, but I did vote. Enough is enough when we get someone who does something that will help us not tear us apart. My trips to the grocery store tell me we need a change of guard. Just remember that a leader always reflects in the people. Things trickle down not up. Messed up leader, messed up people. Strong leader, strong people. The End.

...VOTE. Isn't this the way the obstructionists got in - during the 2010 elections?

Now is the time to vote them out and hopefully get people into office who are real public servants -

Repubs seem to have some good ideas, but they are being drowned out by those behind the pulpit who seem only interested in money and power.

Forcing one's religion (and beliefs) on an entire country - what? I don't recall that in the bible.

I don't know if this is the correct spot to post, but here's the hypothetical question: If someone loses their job (and health insurance) and becomes an IC after obamacare open enrollment closes in February, would they still be able to enroll in obamacare (say in March or April), or would the only option for health insurance be COBRA? So this is what I have learned. After listening about the new health insurance, this is what I know. There are 3 levels of care/cost. They are trying to get the young people to join to keep the cost down for the older people.
