As a conservative, I actually get their - anger against Wall Street

Their ignorant and violent actions are getting more attention than their message is. I think it is a shame really. They have a right to have a beef with Wall Street...but their behavior is more like roudy college boys at a frat party and their entire message has been looked over because of that.

Article does not say how police determined - they were OWS
[ In Reply To ..]What I see is somebody wearing dark clothes and a black hood, attire frequently associated with outsiders repeatedly denounced by OWS who show up at rallies, vandalize, then disppear. We never see reports on any efforts being made to identify who is behind those numerous incidents. Besides "plants" or bored college frat boys, this could be a disgruntled employee who's been fired, bank customer who has been turned down for a loan, a home or business owner who the bank has foreclosed, or someone who is mentally unstable.
The police do not bother investigating OWS complaints about the vandalizing outsiders. They and the media predictably attribute these types of acts to the movement as they have all along. This makes me very skeptical of the how the person or persons involved in this were positively IDed as OWS protesters.
OWS supporters are not registered in some central data bank along with prints or any other data that could help determine identity. Did the NYC police match this person's face up with other surveillance tapes they had around of OWS protesters? Are OWS protesters the only people who walk down Wall Street with black hoods on their heads?
IMO, the credibility gap needs to be narrowed by providing the specifics on how the police came to this conclusion.

[ In Reply To ..]As long as that question remains unanswered and because of the lack of response on the part of police and media to investigate and report on who the outsiders who crash OWS events are (and whom the OwS has repeatedly denounced), this type of reporting and characterization of the vandals as OWS protesters lacks credibility.

I think this latest OWS incident is shining the light on a few neanderthals that are infiltrating OWS. The OWS movement needs to gets this under control quickly before the entire movement is flushed down the toilet (pun intended).

It turned out to be just another left-wing/anarchist charade representing the 21% identified by Gallup as being the liberal fringe minority. So the latest is that these people dumped a load of feces in a bank lobby.
Very telling of their level of class and social position in our culture. The rest of us go to work and pay taxes, raise our children and even go to church. The occupy movement collects unemployment and disability checks, smokes dope, commits assaults on peace officers, rapes women, trashes cities and causes property damage, and apparently engages in communal dumps to make some point that is meaningful only to them.
If OWS wants to be excremental in bringing their issues out, I will continue to call them out.
Tis a dirty job but someone’s gotta do it.
