And the taxes that they don't pass along diminish their profits, so in effect they get passed along to the shareholders.
The news flash: A LOT OF MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE ARE SHAREHOLDERS!! They own shares directly, they own mutual funds in their retirement accounts (what's left of those), etc. IT ISN'T JUST "FAT CATS" WHO OWN SHARES OF AMERICAN CORPORATIONS! A lot of ordinary moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas own shares in those companies that Sanders wants to rape and pillage.
So, get this straight once and for all: Corporations do not pay taxes! They TRANSFER taxes, either by incorporating them into their price structure OR, when they eat some of the tax, by diminishing their profits and hence the future value of their shares.
(Incidentally, corporations also transfer the costs of regulations.)

Does that mean that administrative costs will go up on our 401K plans? No doubt we will have a war or two to fund during his term and will need money for that as well. It has to come from somewhere and no doubt working folks will have to share the cost. I used to believe this BS as well until reality set in and I started working for a living. Bernie and his supporters need to learn that money doesn't grow on trees.
