#4 - VA: Granted, a big fat mess we're not sure of how much he knew, and yet he probably should've looked in on sooner.

#3 - Iran/nuclear arms negotiations: Like immigration, nobody's sure what to do about that.(See below)

#2 - Racial Tension: Sorry, I thought you were joking on this one. I'm pretty sure racial tension existed in this country before Obama and will exist during and after. If you're referring to Ferguson, he had nothing to do with that either. However, if that's your point, his response or the lack of thereof, I get it, but are you suggesting he issue an Executive Order?

#2 - Immigration: Congress has been unable to agree for years about what to do on immigration, many before him tried and failed, including George W. Bush.

And every presidential nominee has been on SNL and parodied themselves since the 1990s, from both parties, probably to boost their ratings in the polls.

Doesn't matter, both "sides" made me laugh each time each time they do.

My point is, there is plenty for the POTUS to focus on - etc, etc, etc

He is narcissistic and is looking for a spotlight any which way he can because he knows his popularity has tanked domestically as well as internationally. He proves over and over again why he wears his clown suit.

I think it cheapens the presidency when Mr. O or any other president goes on one of these talk shows. However, remind me if he is the only one who has done this.

I can't remember any president going on TV especially something like the Tonight Show or whatever.

May seem "undignified" in a way.

Kinda like that selfie Ellen took at the Academy Awards last year. Sorta dishonorable, but at the same time, doesn't our culture love to see people we hold in esteem (warranted or not) just being human, not taking themselves quite so seriously.

FYI, I just went looking and maybe I'm wrong, but I couldn't find where any actual incumbent president has ever appeared on late night TV before Obama either, just candidates, as I said earlier.

Not sure how I feel about that, but I do know that politicians will do just about anything to boost their popularity, not just Obama, let's not kid ourselves.

All I DO know is, sometimes you just have to laugh at the absurdity of it all as well as laugh at ourselves

Well, like I said in the post itself, I may be wrong, I just couldn't find it on a hurried search between reports earlier, thank you. I definitely didn't know those were during office.

Ah well, like I said, I get those who are saying it's undignified, etc., but I also like to see them being human once i a while, too, I can't help myself. Doesn't mean I'll vote for them, I just like to catch a laugh when I can
