Before hearing anything about him or what he was going to represent, I saw his picture on the TV (sound was off) and thought he was a guy from Saturday Night Live. Maybe that's where he would be better suited??

This guy is being brought in to do a job. He is not up for election and he is not a media hack, having to give "both sides" credence which one side does NOT deserve. He needs to get at the truth quickly, and act.

Unfortunately for repubs, the truth has a liberal bias and this guy should have absolutely no shame in those tweets, just like the numerous tweets you can read by virtually ANY republican at any time questioning President Obama on everything.
