Said the Politican Pot about the Politician Kettle - Independent
[ In Reply To ..]
Like I said below under the "Obamacare" post, those who want to possess "the ring" most are the least deserving of it.
I think most politicians at they level are at least sociopaths, most of them were lawyers. And let's not even get into how many MDs could be clinically diagnosed as narcissists.
But the fact is, a neurosurgeon is not qualified to diagnose behavioral conditions that do not stem from brain injury or neurologic cause - that would be a psychiatrist - one who could be objective politically rather than letting that supercede his analysis for his own personal gain ;)
Don't get me wrong, I had my naysay with Obama in the most recent Obamacare thread below.
But come on, now - if Obama's a psychopath for lying, so is GWBush and worse, IMO. Lies about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq so he could shift the focus from Afghanistan to Iraq for personal gain/vendetta, though OBL was at the Pakistan/Afghanistan border from the beginning? How much money was wasted in Iraq and how many sons/brothers/husbands died over that unnecessary shift?
I really don't care what diagnosis politicians or doctors have, as long as they can cure what ails us, and neither Obama or Bush did. They BOTH have lied at the expense of the American people - but people actually lost their lives over Bush's lies.
my mistake - I hit like on your post instead of dislike (sm) - Aggie
[ In Reply To ..]
Bush's lies? Which ones would that be? Don't even bring up the WMDs because we all know that even Bubba said there were WMDs there. It doesn't take an M.D. to figure out that Obama is a psychopath, so trying to run down Ben Carson won't work with me. We all know he is a narcissist, all you have to do is listen to one of his speeches, I, me, my, I, me, my, etc. etc. etc. Look at Obama's other behaviors. He is a psychopath.
The one about OBL and his power hub being in Iraq instead of Afghanistan - Independent
[ In Reply To ..]
That's cool, I've hit the wrong button myself on that like/dislike thing myself and it's okay you disagree - I hit "like" on yours for presenting your disagreement like a grown up :)
IMO, shifting the focus from Afghanistan to Iraq as actually being OBL's power center and location was a big fat whopper, and the CIA knew it (watch Zero Dark Thirty - actual agents and Seals who caught him were consulted) which is why they and the Seals kept going in Afghanistan and Pakistan, despite what Bush said. In fact, the upper levels tried to cut the search several times, but those agents never gave up, they had too much evidence to the contrary.
I don't care what politicians say - Geiger counters DON'T lie - they show radioactivity up to a year after radioactivity to that magnitude has been present and nothing ever showed.
But if someone here can provide proof there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, at that time, I'll eat my keyboard right now lol.
But for the sake of debate, let's say you're right, they were there and moved. Where did they go, then, and how did they move them without detection without having the type of stealth technology we do?
Rrright, see? They went nowhere because they were where they were never moved, they were where they always were from the beginning.
And don't even get me started with how many lies he told about Hurricane Katrina, I was living in that region at the time, but that's another issue - in fact, forgive me for getting overly passionate about Bush at times, personal reasons for that, and after this, this is all I'd like to say on the subject unless someone directly asks me because I can't be very objective on it.
IMO, all we lost with Obama was money - people lost their lives and many, many people lost their loved ones with GWB.
PS added at 9:33 a.m. It may be "the past" for many on here, but the decisions these politicians make have lasting impact - particularly lost lives.
Obama is a pathological liar. - Must liberals always deflect to Bush?

We go back to Bush - Long gone
[ In Reply To ..]
because it's difficult to forget that the Bush (both of them) lies got us into 3 wars that cost this country several trillion dollars and are directly responsible for the current mess in the Middle East. Now we are faced with the prospect of another Bush?
Pretty sure I said Bush AND Obama are lying politicians. Perhaps remove the party glasses - Independent
[ In Reply To ..]
Since I was the one that mentioned Bush, I assume this comment is in reference to mine?
My point was, politicians in general lie, that's what they do, and it's not party specific.
In fact, I spent several paragraphs 2 threads below criticizing Obama, but I'm sorry people have a need, here, to put me in one box or the other to ease their own cognitive dissonance; however, I don't fit very well into neat little boxes. If people want to stuff themselves into a neatly labeled little box, far be it from me to stop you, but I believe people are more complex than that.
Bush may be gone, but the decisions he's made have long-lasting effects, just like Clinton's NAFTA decisions have 20 years later, and as Obama's decisions will affect us for years to come (Obamacare).
Only Bush's decisions cost us lives rather than just money - and forgive me if that takes me a bit longer to get over because I value human life more than I do money.
Also, I just admitted to the above commenter that I AM more emotional about Bush's lies than Obama's for personal reasons - so I will step back now from this discussion unless someone directly addresses me.
He also thinks people become gay in jail so I ....sm - VTMT

I'm not sure I follow this. You say you give (sm) - LM

"no credence to anything he says" because you don't like his comments about gays and prison. But Obama lies to you repeatedly, and you obviously still give credence to what he says. I'm not following. Please clarify.
Obama pathological liar and he gets a pass all day long - No critical, logical thinking there whatsoever

Charles Krauthammer, columnist and a psychiatrist in real life also believes he is a sick man.
So glad another doctor is seeing him for who he is.
I feel sorry for those constantly upholding anything the man does. When they finally wake up, the truth will hurt them. It is my opinion that so far nothing that the man has done has affected their lives YET. You cannot tell me that being a liar and deceiving people is the right thing any president should do on a consistent basis and to do things not in our country's best interest.
So, you can blast away, but I still think everyone should be able to come here without fearing being slammed and demeaned and whatever things others can think of to hurl at someone with a differing opinion.
No wonder the moderators have to get this board cleaned so often.
I agree with you again - 100% from Obamacare - being mentally ill

to the constant harassment by a few whenever someone disagrees with them. I, too, believe that they may not have had something that Obama has done hit them hard...YET. I have.
Besides that, Obama is continually being proven a documented liar on every issue. It seems he is completely incapable of telling the truth.

Psychopath, Anyone Ever Known One?Dec 08, 2013I started to read an article this morning only because of the first line I saw which drew my attention. Large Portion Of GOP Thinks Obama Is Racist, Socialist, Non-U.S. CitizenFeb 02, 2010If this is true, it's certainly sad for America. I don't know how our President stays focused knowing people think he is a non-U.S. citizen, racist, etc. Some are even praying for his death. A new poll of more than 2,000 self-identified Republican voters illustrates the incredible paranoia enveloping the party and the intense pressure drawing lawmakers further and further away from political moderation. The numbers speak for themselves -- a large portion of GOP voters think that Presid ...
