Threat from right-wing extremists greater than

Some federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from sovereign citizen groups as equal to -- and in some cases greater than -- the threat from foreign Islamic terror groups, such as ISIS, that garner more public attention.

Any group coming out saying the other group is more dangerous than ISIS. That says anyone who holds the constitution dear to them, that doesn't want to see the country turned into North Korea or Cuba or any other communist country. That people with opposing opinions, that people who home school, or people who go to church are more dangerous than ISIS. I've been around a long time and believe me, I've heard this rhetoric from the left to fill a life time. Thing is I don't hear the right coming out saying people on the left are worse than ISIS, but the left are trying to pull that "shiff" again. The thing is who are they trying to convince? Anyone with a right mind (and I'm not directing this toward anyone here, but you see this bull throughout the news and on the internet). It's a bunch of crapolio and people can see it. Wish they would get their butts sued for planting/indoctrinating others with blatantly false information.

What scares me are the plants putting out this false propaganda garbage, but what scares me even more are the ones who actually believe it.

the definition. The people you list are in no way considered to be extremists. People who stray from the mainstream and don't believe the law applies to them are extremists, often resorting to violence and terrorism. Is homeschooling and going to church frowned upon where you live? I live in a blue state and that is definitely not the case here.

This whole propaganda machines who call themselves news stations or political commentators are the ones spreading the hate and fear. It's on all sides but its very prevalent on the left.

They are labeling anyone and everyone who doesn't agree with this administration as extremists. SPLC considers home schoolers, church goers, etc as extremist.

BTW, how did the government label the domestic nitwits are "right wing?" Did they check their voting records? Or did they just decide that any group who isn't lock step with this administration are right wing extremists? Have these so-called terrorists groups just started since Obama became president? Terrorism a/k/a anti-government groups have been part of this country since the beginning. Funny how they have only been known as "right wing extremists" for the past 6 years. It's just another way of administration labels that divide the people. Just because people don't like all the NEW rules and regulations this administration is forcing on the taxpayers doesn't mean they are right wing extremists.

I would love to know how many home grown terrorists/extremists are affiliated with the independent or democratic party. I'm sure there are some. Of course, most reports wouldn't mention those.

There are no right wing terrorists, left wing terrorists, Christian terrorists, Islamic terrorists, or any other descriptive name for terrorists. A terrorist is a terrorist and only a terrorist. This was the point that the president was trying to make.

The terms "right-wing extremists" and "right-wing terrorism" go back several decades. Similarly, so do the terms "left-wing extremists" and "left-wing terrorism."

None of these terms have been invented in the past 6 years nor invented by the current administration to divide anyone. They actually avoid putting labels on things and lumping things into categories and are criticized by the right-wing heavily for avoiding the use of the broad brush. These terms are also not limited to the United States.
