It would be interesting to see how many people would check the box on their tax return if there was an option that said: "Would you like to contribute to the federal birth control fund?" the way it asks if you'd like to contribute to the presidential fund. The case has been made here that it's less expensive to provide BC than support a child for 18 years of life. Free BC? Maybe not entirely, but certainly I would find sliding scale acceptable.

I did a little sleuthing on Ms. Fluke, though, and if what I read is true, she also supports government funded transgender operations. That's pretty far out there, IMHO.
