All the outrage over Catholics' religious rights being violated was just a golden opportunity for some to scream and blast the president. If you understood what many Catholics believe in and care about and practice, you'd know very well who Sister Simone is or at least know what her message is.

Did Sandra Fluke REALLY say she wants to "have promiscuous sex" and have us pay for it? Inserting the word "promiscuous" into your post shows your obvious bias.

What makes you think she's promiscuous? As you know, it only takes one partner (and only one single act) to become pregnant.

If you really think that college men and women don't EVER have sex, you would be mistaken. Some don't, to be sure, but many do. I've known several really good girls from upstanding, religious families who have become pregnant during their college years. No one who I know would prefer NOT to have that grandchild once they're conceived, but I bet most people would PREFER that that conception not occur during their son or daughter's college years in the first place.

That's not a sarcastic comment. There are some kids out there that spend almost their whole life in college getting degree after degree and never work. They live off student loans.

I am not too sympathetic. She was rude to the officer. I was taught to respect authority, be it teachers, police, etc. I know that some cops are bullies. I have read and followed the Sandra Bland case wtih some interest, due to my own personal experience back in April. I was arrested and taken to a local county jail on a VERY minor charge. Amazing that this was created in Australia while the hostage situation was taking place. Some of the people reacted quickly and publicized that this was an individual and not a race that had committed an atrocity and made this a public awareness issue.
