Hundreds of communists. - LOL.

"Hundreds" of communists sympathetic to Cuba and opposed to Westerners who come to Africa to "plunder" their wealth and resources protest an American president's visit. What a shock! Are these same folks as outspoken about their own human rights records? For example, 500,000 women raped every year? That South African women are more likely to be raped than they are to finish high school? Than one in every 4 men admit to rape? Child and baby rape rates among the highest in the world? Are they opposed to the concepts of "corrective rape" and the "virgin cleansing" myth?

The protesters should exercise those democratic free speech rights while they can, since unfortunately political repression is on the rise again in South Africa.

The protesters are "trade unionists and members of the South African Communist Party". What on earth makes you conclude that the protesters are Muslims? Because they are foreign? Because it is Africa? The country is nearly entirely Christian.

I checked the two articles. The word Muslim appears once. One time in two articles: "...the Muslim Lawyers Association called for the president's arrest for war crimes."

I do note that the Yahoo video shows Muslims praying outside Nelson Mandela's hospital, and they do get comments from a Muslim or two.

I'm not going to help you gin up outrage and rile yourself up by engaging in an argument you christen with not just one, not two, but three spurious charges about the president.

USA reports on the nature of the protest include Bilaal Qibr's justifiable claim that his rights are being infringed upon (since the protests were being dispersed by police....something I totally oppose), the oppression in Palestine and how the US is accurately portrayed by them as the enabler in that situation, the Muslim Lawyer's Association's call for prosecution for war crimes, and the failure to close Guantanamo. From where I sit, those are Moslem concerns. To be clear, I think they make some valid points.

Not quite sure what's behind this reluctance to acknowledge the Moslem presence in these South African protests. Maybe it's because GOP agitators eager to showcase these minority groups protests (as your previous post pointed out in the Christian population stats) realize how silly it is for them to suddenly be siding with communists, Marxists, Moslem, trade unions, workers and students and trying to use their issues for political gain.

As far as ginning up outrage and riling myself up is concerned, I made no spurious charges about the president and I harbor absolutely no outrage here. I simply pointed out that the protesters referred to in the OP are from groups the GOP fringe and conspiracy theorists (in THEIR efforts to impune him) are CONSTANTLY trying to claim the president not only supports, but also personifies. I agree that THOSE are indeed spurious charges, but I still am looking for the answer to my original question from those well versed in cons logic.

If the POTUS, as they state categorically ad nauseum, is a Moslem, a communist and a union thug, how then do they explain the nature of these protests in South Africa? I think the lack of direct response to this rhetorical question thus far speaks for itself.
