Even though a nation of heavily gerrymandered congressional districts didn't see much turnover from party to party, a number of the most reactionary candidates have been rejected this time. Our national flirtation with extremism seems to have taught a lot of us that we really don't like it. Good start ato turnaround anyway.

Without the gerrymandering protecting people of BOTH parties, this would have been a year of enormous change.

How many more stinging defeats is it going to take before the die-hards finally get the message? However many that might be, the same electorate that delivered his loss stands ready to continue rejecting and turning a deaf ear to repeated attempts to kill the optimism and forward movement that has been reaffirmed and ballot-mandated.

that every man over 40 is responsible for his face. Lincoln had supposedly disliked someone because of the way he looked. West's displays his bad character more than any I can think of.

Here's a little quote that betrays him as well as his face does: In April 2011, West told a conservative women's conference that liberal women have been neutering American men and bringing us to the point of this incredible weakness and to let them know that we are not going to have our men become subservient. That's what we need you to do. Because if you don't, then the debt will continue to grow, deficits will continue to grow.

I wonder how many of those conservative women thought he was only insulting those LIBERAL neutering you-know-whats who're causing the national debt. :)

From what I understand, Libertarians do not believe in government regulation or assistance.
