Have the Republicans done anything about increasing jobs since elected?

I see now that the Congress has not funded the FAA and 4,000 jobs have been "furloughed," which will, in turn, affect 16,000 private sector jobs. I thought they were going to be doing something to INCREASE jobs. ;

How do you think republicans can do anything? It was dem majorities in the house and senate with a dem president from 2009 to 2011. Republicans only have majority in the house now, and Reid won't let them bring up any bill he doesn't want. Reid is like Obama, socialist .... even my liberal sister has come to think Obama is trying to destroy the economy on purpose.

It's really hard to try and get something done that benefits the people of the country when it is constantly shut down by the democrats all so they can keep spending.

The senate has not done a budget like they are supposed to do yearly in over 2 years. The EPA has done more to destroy jobs, 200,000 plus just in the gulf with their illegal extension of banning drill. Last I heard they have approved one, and the process takes up to 6 months now as opposed to 6 weeks before. The EPA is also putting the coal industry out of business with standards too much higher and soon enough they can't reach them, they are just closing down. GE is moving their medical machinery plant to China... their CEO Imelt is an advisor to Obama who travels with him frequently, they paid zero taxes last year. The USA is going upside down, like the twilight zone, we have a chavez clone in the white house undermining and destroying our economy. The 800 billion stimulus .. failure, went to the dems buddies for their pleasure.

about offshore drilling. Guess what? By and large, they are all for offshore drilling. Despite the media's attempts to make the oil spill look like a bigger deal than it was, the people here are still for offshore drilling. Have you ever asked them how they feel?
