If you want to start culling the blogging sites for crap, you'll be smelling like sewer quite quickly.

As a staunch liberal, I condemn the crap from KOS and all the radical bloggers on both sides. But even more, I DO hold Palin, Bachman, Angle, Limbaugh, Beck, Kelly, as PUBLIC FIGURES WITH A NATIONAL PLATFORM - responsible for their own inciting of violence. To see them now try to say- it wasn't a gun sight, it was a surveyor's symbol re the bull's eye map is ludicrous.

They should all be charged with inciting terrorism - because whether this particular young man acted on their words or not-- their INTENT was what we got. I have no idea how they sleep at night.

WORDS MATTER. No one should be more aware of that then we, a population who make our living off of words-- If you are going to incite you need to be held accountable.

Irresponsible is irresponsible. This shooter had no connection to Palin or the tea party, in fact was described as liberal by those who knew him (quite liberal) and his first contact and fixation on Giffords began in 2007.

During the elections I saw Democratic AND Republican operatives on a daily basis on news shows with maps talking about (not writing about) targeting certain people and districts. They did not mean to shoot anyone any more than Palin did. Hunters use that terminology a lot as do both sides..."get them in my crosshairs" "you are in my crosshairs"...same thing. NOBODY means to shoot anybody, and no one who is SANE takes it that way.

What about the liberal SEIU beating people down during the election and preaching violence? What about the moveon.org operative who bit the guy's finger off in a fight over Obamacare? And he wasn't insane...he was just a mean liberal.

This shooter was liberal by all accounts; do you see me in post after post after post saying he was a crazy leftie liberal killer and shot her because she wasn't toeing the party line?? Come ON.

Again...sorry, but you have no moral high ground to stand on until you are willing to see both sides.

I know exactly what "Don't retreat, instead - RELOAD!" means. A reasonable person's reaction to it is to be appalled. An unstable person might just buy a Glock and shoot people.
