Fill in a critical gap that seems no longer to be taught in school. To be missing these skills is to be helpless to deal with the many complexities of life, and subject to manipulation by others such as political candidates (which is why I posted this here). Just because we call this the "silly season" in the electoral cycle doesn't mean that WE have to be silly.
As you take the course, I think you'll find yourself wondering why in the world this wasn't a core part of your education - and everyone's education. (I think I know, but that's another discussion.)
