Does "vetting" mean the (apparent) absence of negative information? If so, it is not vetting at all.
People who do background investigations will know what I mean. Vetting starts with a POSITIVE CONFIRMATION OF IDENTITY, and goes on from there.
If Hillary Clinton really MEANS proper vetting, HER POSITION IS BARELY DIFFERENT FROM TRUMP'S. The simple fact is that there is no way to properly vet most individuals who come from Syria, Libya, etc. Give it up and face it.
On the other hand, I doubt that Clinton does mean proper vetting. I think that her standards for "vetting" are so low that they do include "the absence of negative information" in some database, the very reliability of which is highly questionable.
First time ever that I've considered a vote for any political candidate to be an act of treason, providig aid and comfort to the enemy, but that is exactly how I view a vote for Hillary Clinton.
