Former Attorney General rips Comey, but he was held in contempt

The Democrats are in full crisis management mode over the decision by FBI Director James Comey — whom Democrats were lining up to praise a few short months ago — to inform Congress that the investigation into Hillary Clinton's illegal private email server has been officially re-opened due to the accidental discovery of potentially thousands of undisclosed emails. In response, the Democrats are doing what they do best: orchestrating a take-down. One of the most notable figures leading the campaign to crush Comey is former Attorney General Eric Holder... Holder is one of nearly 100 former Department of Justice officials to sign a letter condemning Comey for potentially hurting the chances of the Democratic nominee by being transparent with Congress and the American people. It's worth noting that a former U.S. Attorney General slamming one of his own former employees is a rare move. It's also worth noting that Holder was held in contempt by Congress during his tenure in the Justice Department. Holder clearly is not a fan of transparency, particularly when it comes to Congress. Apparently, the Department of Justice and the White House should be above having to disclose its dealings with the other branches of government or the American people. How can they best serve the people if the people know what they're doing? Or something. ;
