was completely awesome! I'm so glad that judge threw him in jail! It is about time people be made to respect the system. You don't have to agree with it, but you should respect it and know how to act in places. Enjoy jail you little moron! lol.

Can you imagine how ridiculous he felt being handcuffed in front of the cameras and having to admit he flipped the bird at Jeff Ashton? Part of me could not stop laughing tonight when I saw it because it was so brainless! I agree that it's time people are held accountable and made to show respect for the system. I'll bet his coworkers at T.G. Friday will never let him forget this.

[ In Reply To ..]in my opinion, I personally don't think he was flipping the bird at Ashton, per se. He was looking directly into the TV camera when he did it and I think he was doing it for the camera alone and for "shock value." The way he covered his face with his hands first, then looked right into the camera and flipped the bird. I think when he was questioned by Judge Perry as to who he was flipping off, he had no real answer. How could he say he was flipping off the "general public" who would be viewing this, so instead, he chose Ashton. When he was asked why he flipped Ashton off, he had no response at all. He could not think of one because it was not him he was doing it for. He was mugging the cameras and looking for his 5 seconds of fame...well, he got what he asked for, as well as the consequences. ha ha. boo on you!
I would also like to comment on the film footage where someone said that Casey Anthony mouthed the words "son of a bitch" to her father...I watched her mouth again and again, and since I am partially deaf, I can read lips to some extent. She was not saying what the media said she said...she was saying "yes, it will." They never played the part that she was responding to, so I don't know the context, but that is what she said..."yes, it will." The media makes so much out of everything. Her mouthing does not even come close to forming the words they said she did.

He clearly admitted he meant it for Jeff Ashton, whom in my opinion does a tremendous job as prosecutor. Also, If you remember, Judge Perry also asked the guy if he could read when he (Judge Perry) held up the sign and read it. He also asked him if he heard the verbal instructions the gallery is given prior to each court session. He admitted to knowing the rules, but was just so sorry. . . . . Unbelievable, isn't it?

[ In Reply To ..]I watch Lockup all the time, and they strip search all inmates on their arrival to jail. I'll bet when that big door slammed shut on his cell the reality of his actions hit home. I really love Belvin Perry, and it is clear he runs a no nonsense courtroom in every respect. That's how I was raised. We were taught proper behavior and we were expected to live accordingly. I will never stop being thankful for that. It just seems so many people don't care about anything anymore.
