No racism in the Attorney General's Office?

Baloney. Wouldn't press charges against the New Black Panthers. I can't remember other things he did but here's the latest:
DAYTON -- The Dayton Police Department is lowering its testing standards for recruits.
It's a move required by the U.S. Department of Justice after it says not enough African-Americans passed the exam.
Dayton is in desperate need of officers to replace dozens of retirees. The hiring process was postponed for months because the D.O.J. rejected the original scores provided by the Dayton Civil Service Board, which administers the test.
Under the previous requirements, candidates had to get a 66% on part one of the exam and a 72% on part two.
The D.O.J. approved new scoring policy only requires potential police officers to get a 58% and a 63%. That's the equivalent of an ‘F’ and a ‘D’.

[ In Reply To ..]is because he thinks it's a terrible idea! Unbelievable! I didn't watch the video link, so he might be on there, but there was also an African-American candidate that said he wanted the job, but only if he earned it, not if it was handed to him. Good on him!!
This whole thing just blows my mind - the dumbing down of our country continues.

What happened to taking pride in earning something....oh nevermind...we will just dumb down the test so you will pass whether you really passed or not. I have never understood how taking a test to get a job is racist. If you don't know enough knowledge to pass the test, you shouldn't have the job. The position of a police officer is a serious job and I don't like the idea of any person (red, yellow, black, or white) being passed with a failing grade. That is scary.
