Five-week congressional vacation...

The question was asked below, does it bother anyone that congress is on vacation for five weeks? Yes, it bothers me. It bothers me because I'm afraid the president is going to use his pen and phone to grant amnesty to the illegal invaders during that time. I actually think he's been looking forward to this opportunity.

...They've had to breathe the same air as Pelosi and need some fresh air without her around. Also, they're frustrated because 350+ bills sit on Reid's desk. I myself would need longer than five weeks to be able to decompress from that pair.

sitting on their yachts and sipping daquiris right about now. All they've "accomplished" in session is to block everything the government tries to do. They've made the president's job just that much harder. Which of course was their intent all along. Congress whines and cries and drags its feet on everything, even things they formerly WANTED, just because they think it'll help their cause. I'm looking forward to 2016 when, regardless of WHO they run for office, the republican candidate won't stand a snowball's chance in ___ of getting elected, because the conservatives have become the party of whackos, obstructionists, and blithering fools.

The answer is most Americans are sorry that the Tpubs run Congress and obstruct at every single level. Even if they AGREE with President Obama, they will refuse to cooperate, based on pure hatred and, to a large extent, I believe in my heart, because of their virulent racism, particularly the "good ole boys" down South.

Now they're even claiming that there's a war against white people.
