Just FYI.

Interesting, but has nothing to do with US "pubs" - as you can them.

They are far left socialists just like the CPC and the DSA. They are anticapitalist and Marxist which makes them the opposite of American Republicans.

The "Republican" in their name comes from the Irish Republic.

Thanks for posting!

Conservative socialism - is

[ In Reply To ..]
alive and well in the US. It is really funny how "socialism" is such a scary word to mainstream America. Just goes to show that for the most part, we know nothing about it except scary world war stories.

Republicans are huge redistributors of wealth when you really study it.

We have many many "socialist" programs here in the US penned and approved by both parties.

I will continue to chuckle when someone says "SOCIALIST!" Ahhhhhh!!!!
I'm rejecting your deflection. - and there is much more...
[ In Reply To ..]
than income redistribution. If you want to know about socialism, has nothing to do with world war stories. Has to do with Karl Marx, your..errr...their patron saint. Obama is a big fan of his. As are the CPC and DSA. Republicans are all about free markets and capitalism. Big Karl Marx no-no.

I agree about "socialist" programs. Way out of hand. Need to be reined in. I am hoping that the Republicans will get back to their platform and start dismantling many of them as soon as possible. After another shellacking in 2012, they may be in a position to do just that, and I hope Obamacare is the first to fall under the axe.

You have a nice day now...and study up on socialism, since you admit you know nothing about it. :-)
I would admit it if it were true. There is no - need

for dismissive personal comments.

The opposite of fear is understanding. I am not scared.
Yes, understanding....there was a quote.... - about that....
[ In Reply To ..]
"How do you tell a Communist?
Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin.
And how do you tell an anti-Communist?
It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin."

I did not make a perosnal dismissive comment. You stated we do not know anything about socialism. I suggested that you read up on.

I do not have the power to dismiss you.
What? - I
[ In Reply To ..]
did not say you had the power to dismiss anyone. I said there is no need to make dismissive personal comments.

Your responses show some short circuit between reading something and understanding what it means.
That is interesting.... - that you would say....

this: I said there is no need to make dismissive personal comments.

Followed by this: Your responses show some short circuit between reading something and understanding what it means.

You said dismissive personal comments...that indicates I was attempting to "dismiss" you.

See last line of your post quoted above, re: understanding.

Have a nice day! :)
"Dismissive" would not include - saying

you are misunderstanding my posts. And people often make dismissive personal comments while having no power to dismiss.

your post. Please try not to do this.

No one said that socialism is about WW stories. The message was that most people in the US heard about socialism through WW stories.

twisted - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
All the posts get twisted. We see our government arguing like children and never get anything done and yet we do the same on here. Everybody has their own opinions and should not have to be crucified for saying them. If you disagree, you should say so, but not in a tone that belittles people. Geez, these discussions are not supposed to be about making people out to be stupid because they believe in something. They should be about discussing an issue like adults and explaining why you think your way would work better.

People should stop making one party out to be better than the other and discuss the issues. We all know both parties are crooked and have personal agendas, not agendas to better our country. Can't we discuss things without falling into their way of not getting anything figured out?
This message should go to the - OP
[ In Reply To ..]
What would be the purpose for starting this string?
The purpose was information. This is a politics board. - The CPC is alive and well..
[ In Reply To ..]
in the US Congress as we speak so is definitely political.
lol. Okay, well that's very old information - Perhaps
[ In Reply To ..]
no one heard WW stories about it. :P

The purpose of the original post is not lost in "postal deflection." :P
Yes, the purpose was to disseminate information. - For the reader to decide.
[ In Reply To ..]
I am sure you will agree that we still have freedom of expression? That is unless the socialists manage to take over the FCC to control the message...like they are trying to do.

Have a good one!
All I will say is - there

Remembering JOURNOLIST And Progressive MediaJul 16, 2017
