Obama's Blame Game Continues

The Daily Caller:  "Obama, Sebelius Blame ‘Right-Wing Media,’ ‘Billionaires’ For Obamacare Failures..."

I can't stop laughing. Will Obama ever take responsibility for any of his failures?

The Obama haters who hate anything Obama does and blame everything that goes wrong on the planet as some kind of dastardly act put in motion by the evildoer Obama are at it again and are now blaming Obama for.... blaming.

I can't stop laughing either.

"Beam me up, Scotty."

LOL the blame game has a domino effect - and the blaming posters don't get it.

[ In Reply To ..]
Are there any other political leaders that the anti-Obama posters hold responsible for what is happening in the world or is the blame strictly Obama's - which begs the question why do they dislike Obama so much?

"Obama haters" equals name calling - sm

I'm not going to change your mind, you're not going to change mine. No matter what any of us says, you will ALWAYS call us Obama haters because we're not Obama lovers. If that is a title I have to wear, so be it. I know in my heart that I don't "hate" anyone.

Does Obama disliker suit you better - perhaps you could explain

[ In Reply To ..]
Explain the feelings you have for Obama so poster(s) can come up with a more suitable title for you regarding your stand on Obama.

Or are you hoping to get post removed by saying the poster who disagrees with you is name-calling?
If I wanted a post removed, I would report it. - sm

I just made the comment because "hate" is an extremely strong word. I don't think most people "hate" Obama or anyone else. Get it?
I get you dodged the question of what word - better describes your feeling about Obama
[ In Reply To ..]
And your lame name-calling post is just like a tattling child hoping someone will notice and remove the post.

So if you do not agree that posters hate Obama, what do they feel? GET IT?

You just did exactly what you're complaining about! People on this board who don't feel the need to trash the POTUS are labelled "Obama lovers."

Why can't Democrats or Independents or Republicans who voted for Obama just be supporters of our country or our president without being labelled as being "Obama lovers" or somehow part of a group of crazies?

Think about it!
If I loved something I wouldn't mind it being out there. - "Hate" is a strong and negative word.
[ In Reply To ..]
If I was an Obama lover, I would wear it loud and proud.

I'm not sure of the percentage of Independents or Republicans who voted for Obama, so I can't speak to that, but I would not imagine that there are too many of them here on MTStars.

Okay, I'm done thinking. LOL.
"Obama lover" and "Obama hater" are - juvenile.

It reduces us to all-or-nothing (or black and white) thinking, which is along the lines of what children do because it makes it easier for them to process things.

It never ceases to amaze me that posters - seek high and LOW to find ways to bash Obama

[ In Reply To ..]
Makes me wonder why. Why do they dislike this man so much and go to such lengths to make sure everyone else does too by posting garbage on this board daily?

These anti-Obama posters make me wonder what their - life is like outside of bashing the president

[ In Reply To ..]
Do they find joy in anything else besides their passion for hating Obama and finding anti-Obama articles to post on political boards?

I'm not an Obama fan but can't say I would go out of my way to look for articles that make him look bad and post them to convince others to dislike him.

You certainly give - ProMT

[ In Reply To ..]
some people a lot of credit for possibly changing other people's minds. In my opinion, Obama does not need any help whatsoever in making himself look bad. This is the political board, is it not? Maybe the Comedy Stop would be a better choice for you.

This is a political board. We are allowed to post - whatever we want

[ In Reply To ..]
I have not posted an article here in a long time as I do not know who all the posters are and what they are going to do with whatever information I post. With that said...

When we read about an issue happening in the government we are allowed to post here. That is what this board is for. Posting articles, giving opinions, and talking about issues that affect us. It just so happens that most of it is negative and Obama is the only one responsible for that. Things he and his admin are doing, the stupid stuff they say, the lies they put out, the corrupt politics that is going on. Doesn't matter whether hes a republican/democrat/independent/communist. It's in the news and it's worthy of being posted. Just like the stuff against Bush, Romney, and McCain was. We sit through the negative articles that come out about republicans/independents.

We don't go looking for things. In fact most of us no matter what party we be associate ourselves with would rather read that positive things have happened. I would love one day to open up a newspaper, or go online and read any news article like:

Obama has formed a committee and are working at putting people back to work.

Obama has started pulling troops out of where he said he would.

Obama has banned all food items with GMO.

Obama has gone to congress to get their permission for....

Obama has fired top aides due to corruption.

Obama working on a program to help older workers secure jobs that pay enough to support a family.

Obama not putting people born in other countries above American citizens born here.

There are thousands of headlines I would much rather read than what is actually happening. But when every day you wake up knowing something else is going to happen and it's not going to be good for the country, and then you aren't surprised at what you read, just surprised that people are falling for it and supporting it. Yes, those are the articles of news we have to deal with everyday. It does not mean we love or hate Obama. It means we are tired of the corruption in politics.

If you don't like reading negative news then maybe an all liberal board would be a better choice.
You have written a very eloquent and thoughtful post. - SM

I, too, would love to be able to read about and post good news. I didn't vote for Obama, but I almost did. I wasn't disappointed when he was elected and had great hope that he would accomplish great things. Now, I am embarrassed for him. I'm embarrassed for our country. He seems unengaged. He readily admits that he finds out about scandals and whatnot from reading the news or hearing the news. Does he not have people informing him about the goings-on in the world? Shouldn't his finger be on the pulse of the United States of America? Is it a coincidence that he's out golfing or on his way to a fundraiser every time there's some major crisis going on? Things have rapidly escalated in a very negative way and it makes me worry about what will happen over the next two years. I pray that God will continue to bless America.
Rubbish. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
There are stories every day about positive things the administration is doing or trying to do. I have actually answered posts pointing these out, and I am called names for doing so. Case in point. Somebody posted before that the president had NEVER talked about jobs. So I pointed out that he had actually given a speech the DAY BEFORE during a 3-day conference on jobs. The name-calling then commenced.

Regardless of your really long post to the contrary, conservatives on this board seem to be focused on one thing and one thing only, and that is the relentless pursuit of making Obama a 1-term president. Oh, wait!

Having failed at that task, they are now also on the bash Hillary train, so at least there's some variety, still pathetic but at least somewhat different! It's the last cries of a dying party that are infighting against each other with the establishment GOP versus the Tea Party, and they're scared to death of Hillary.

"Why do they dislike this man so much..." - sm

Perhaps because he is destroying the very foundation of America. Remember his promise to "fundamentally transform America"? He's doing it.

Look at the most recent polls. His numbers continue to drop. The majority of America dislikes this man. As Brit Hume said yesterday, he's calling this a "failed presidency." Sadly, I could not agree more.

What foundation did Obama personally destroy - and exactly how?

[ In Reply To ..]
I do not consider Brit Hume an expert on the presidency.

What did Brit Hume call George Bush when he invaded Iraq? Has he given a critique of anyone's presidency other than Obama? And above all, doesn't he work for Fox News who is nothing but 24/7 criticism for Obama.

The only problem with your assessment and that of Brit Hume and Fox News is.... - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Fox News labelled the Obama presidency a failed presidency almost immediately, and so did the echo chamber. From almost day 1, Fox had called it a failed presidency, and even before the man was elected, that drum had already been beaten and pounded to death. They question his citizenship, they question his religion, they question his race, they question his love of his country, etc.

Looking at the most recent polls, actually looking at all the polls, I see that Obama's numbers are basically holding pretty steady at around 40% to 50% for pretty much his entire presidency with the exception of the "honeymoon" period every president enjoys upon taking office (the higher ratings).

Now looking at Congress for that same period, I see they have topped out at an approval rating of 39% early in Obama's presidency and bottomed out at 9%. That 9% was Ted Cruz and the whole Republican and Tea Party "shut that whole thing down" debacle.

So comparatively speaking, I'd say Obama really has nothing to worry about in his poll numbers. If I were you, I'd be more concerned about the fact that 40% and holding steady seem to be siding with our president on a regular basis. It wouldn't take many more voters added to that base of 40% to 50% to keep the White House for a very long time. Ouch!

FIND ways to bash him? That's laughable. Every day (sm) - Abby

he gets further and further down in the muck, and yes, we really have to dig deep to find a new scandal. Get a grip, please.
