There were plenty of democrats who voted for the EIT. Sure, the torture technique make all of us cringe and even feel disgusted. We're human. But those monsters whose goal in life is to slaughter every Christian and every American don't deserve to be treated as humans. What should we have done to get info from them? Have them over for tea and crumpets? Sit around a table and talk about their feelings? Ask them what we can do to make their lives better? They're maniacs! They will stop at nothing until they've beheaded or used some other method of killing every last one of us!

I agree with you. When you are dealing with maniacs like this, you do whatever you have to do to get information. Period. I have no problem with any of it. I did hear a montage of songs they played to drive them insane and laughed and laughed. One was the "I Love You, You Love Me" song by Barney, and one was the Meow Meow commercial with the cats singing.

Washington (CNN) -- One of the reported architects of the interrogation program blasted in a scathing Senate Intelligence Committee report has tough words for the authors.

"It's a partisan pile of bull----," James Mitchell told CNN in an interview.

Mitchell said he could not confirm or deny whether he was one of the key players referred to pseudonymously in the report -- citing a non-disclosure agreement he signed with the federal government.

"If they were truly interested in getting the truth out, they would release me from it," said Mitchell, adding that he would be happy to talk.

The report describes two psychologists who developed the interrogation program, and later had received $80 million from the government to run it despite the fact that neither had "specialized knowledge of al-Qa'ida, a background in counterterrorism, or any relevant cultural or linguistic expertise."
