A reporter point blank asked him if he felt that the American people voted against the democrats because of HIS policy and he never gave a straight answer, something that he has perfected. He stated that when he took the office that the economy was on a freefall, that the nation was in desperate need, that he had no choice but to sign these bills into place quickly, regardless of the price tag, that people do not understand that he is not about big government and big spending yet everything that he does screams the opposite. Today, he, the First Lady, their kids and close to 3000 people are taking a 10-day trip that starts in India of all places and this trip is going to cost taxpayers over 200 million A DAY.
He keeps saying that the economy is rebounding and yet there is not much evidence there to back his statement. I, for one, find it as hard today to buy groceries for my family and pay my bills as I did a year ago. I understand that it is a "trickle down effect," but when our country, when good, hardworking American people are suffering as they are today, I just feel that it is wrong on all levels for our President and his family to be out roaming the globe at our expense, I do not care what he is trying to promote!
