Don't know to post this here or the main board:
I have struggled with odd complaints all my life, dry eyes, numbness and burning in extremities (most likely peripheral and other neuropathy), extreme fatigue, brain fog, teeth falling out, dry itchy skin and ears, mouth ulcers due to dryness, weird rashes, chronic pain. Finally diagnosed with raynauds and sjogrens. I was an MT employed by hospital, worked out of my home. I was on FMLA but hours were changed (attorney is working on this). My job was slowly being outsourced to MTSO (medigrafix, ha) and rather than fire us "employees" administration made it so miserable, perhaps hoping we would quit. Of course the stress set my sjogrens into a huge flare, so I finally resigned.
I have spent the last three months at a loss, the MT world is a joke, I want to go back to school, I love to learn, but feel I should take some time to adjust to limitations my illness gives.
Now to whine, I'm in an extremely unhappy marriage and had planned to leave my husband. Now that I have no job, no income, and an autoimmune disease and am under his health insurance (which pays great) I feel I am STUCK.
Anyone here with sjogrens syndrome? I'm now at point I can't sit in front of computer more than an hour before my eyelids stick together.
