One side of face, around eye and mouth. I started having these and they are so aggravating and cause me much angst. I had Botox for them but that did not alleviate and cause side of my mouth to droop. Have tried Tegretol, no good and another benzodiazepines without any help. Anyone out there with them also? About 6 -8 weeks ago I started getting muscle spasms. Day and night all different areas, feet, fingers, calves, thighs, neck, diaphragm. I started drinking more water, taking potassium, drinking gatorade, etc. Nothing seemed to help. Day by day they got worse and my strength was diminishing; all I wanted to do was sit or lay down.
